L is for Ladybug
The theme for this week's PicStory is the letter L.
Back in the summer of 2009 I managed to capture a ladybug getting ready to fly. Not a great photo but I was very happy to capture the wings of one of my favorite insects. I did a post about the wings and it is one of the most viewed (over 3,100 views) posts of all times on my blog. You can see the post HERE.

Well, for once you are wrong. It IS a great photo. You even captured the shadow. It is amazing. It is hard enough to capture one just walking along. So hard wings and fragile ones...who knew
Though you seems to be "not quite happy" with the shot, i like it.
Have a nice day.

Ms. J that is one amazing photo!!
We love ladybugs here. Mom says it is good luck to find one in your home. She always puts her finger or a piece of paper down for it to climb on she she can release it.
Heading to your past post we might have read it but we want to be sure.

Great shot.... looks like you would have missed its' flight if you waited any longer to snap...

I think it's a fantastic capture. Cause to tell you the truth as many lady bugs that I've seen, I never paid attention before to the winds under that shell.
