these are totally awesome shots, Judy. can't even pick one as a favorite. i love the light in the black. and all 3 photos are perfect for the theme LIGHT..
The swan (goose?) itself looks to be illuminating the scene as much as the sun lights up the avian - B&W is perfect to accent the light. The flower likewise seems to add an inner glow that lights up the garden. Both shots are wonderful and illuminating!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
