January Flowers

The theme for this week's PicStory is January Flowers. The only flowers in my yard this month are frozen. The flower above is a type of Sedum.

We are so excited our 2 year old Adora is about to burst with blooms.
We bought it fall 2010. We were told it would bloom in Feb 2011. It didn't. Lo and behold just after Christmas 2012 we noticed a change and yippy skippy it is starting to bloom and it is very fragrant.
Mom has been taking progressive pics to post.
Hugs madi

Oh WOW!!! At first I could not figure out what was going on. It looked like some strange effect. Then after I read what you have to say, I see they are actually encased in ice!!!!! I have never seen pictures like this, way to go!!!
