Frozen in Time

It was 23 degrees Fahrenheit the other day when I took this photo.  This rose bush almost always has blooms, even in early winter.

Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, even if the sun don't shine
Well it's all right, were going to the end of the line
Travelling Wilburys, End of The Line

The Traveling Wilburys (sometimes shortened to the Wilburys) were an English–American supergroup consisting of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty, accompanied by drummer Jim Keltner.[1] The band recorded two albums in 1988 and 1990, though Orbison died before the second was recorded.

The winter rose is beautiful...real definition of freeze dried.

Beautiful shot of the rose. I don't have any roses in bloom but there have been times I've been able to photograph roses in the snow. Some varieties are very tough.

A beautiful flower. I saw a few roses at the Bass Pro on the wild climbing roses they have.

Didn't check mine. Been staying in as much as possible. Rain and cold. Not my favorite weather.

It's been unseasonably warm here, too. Lovely for getting out and about but I can't help wondering what kind of weather we'll have when winter is officially over!
Thanks for the song. I loved the Wilburys but haven't heard them for ages.
