Synchronized Diving?

I was at the lake yesterday walking the trails and watching the ducks. These fellows were half way across the lake but I thought I would grab a photo or two just because they were lined up in a row. Then, all of a sudden, there it was .......

.............. Duck Butts!

For more photos visit Pat's Things In A Row.

Thursday also means it's time for Thursday Two Questions?

We have been getting a lot of Robo calls lately. I have told them repeatedly I want to be taken off their call list and it never happens. Even though we are on the National Do Not Call List we still get these funky automated calls. Is this how the scammers are getting around the law?

1) Do you get unsolicited phone calls? How do you handle them?

2) If you live in another country other than the US do you have this problem there?

Bonus question: Coffee or tea?

If I don't recognize the number I don't answer:) Your header is beautiful!

Love the duck butts - were they coy and hiding from the female?
Yes, we get automated calls in UK - very annoying. If the call shows as 'number witheld' or 'unavailable' we don't answer. If callers cannot be bothered to leave a message then we cannot be bothered to find out why they're calling.
I love the smell of coffee but not the taste. I used to drink tea but since the beginning of this year I've only drunk fruit teas - no reason for it, just a matter of taste.
I love your bright header. My only balloon trip was above the area around Palm Springs.

Those ducks did put on a show for you, and duck butts shot is awesome, Judy!

1) I don't have a home phone anymore, and if I get a number that I don't know on my cell, I don't answer.

2) I love both tea and coffee, they are decaffeinated.

Perfect things in a row

OH MY we love your header and we love little duck tushies all in a row. Too funny.

We are also registered on the do not call list...what a joke. I think you need to register everyday.
1. Yes we also receive unsolicited calls. I told my hubby the next time we got a call I was picking it up ASAP and speaking immediatel and I would say as sternly as I could, "This phone number is registered on the Nat'l Do Not Call list, and it is being traced"!! Didn't work we still get them. Now we just check the # on the phone screen, if we don't recognize it we don't answer.
We figure if it is someone we want to talk to they will leave a message. Last night during supper we rec'd 3 calls right in a row from the same political candidate..she lost our vote.

How adorable! Love the synchronized swimmers, or should I say duckers? I don't get robocalls since we no longer have a landline. I do get a call now and then from the Democratic National Committee because I've given them money, but I can tell it's them by the "Restricted" number.

I drink BOTH coffee AND tea. Tea in the morning and then a latte before my exercise class. I am addicted to soy latte drinks.

most important FIRST.. coffee coffee coffee. there now, i will finish as soon as i go refill my cup.
the duck butts in a row made me howl with laughter, out loud laughter. love it.
yes yes on the robo calls. makes me crazy. we have called ID and it comes up on the TV screen if it is on, so we don't answer any thing that does not have a name or that we recognize. the problem with the robo calls is they keep calling back until someone answers and if I answer and hang up they call again. we are on the do not call list, so i am not sure what is UP with these. it fries my cookies when I see this number come up, 000000000000 with no name, it means they don't want us to know who is calling. and there is no way to report them. if there is a number, just go on do not call and report it, i did that twice and they did not cal again, but they get around it with zeros.

oh my gosh, i LOVE duck butts!!! a few years ago, i took a photo of one of our duck's butts and emailed it to my friends, declaring that day as "national duck butt day." :)

we get solicitation calls from our own vendors (bank of america, wells fargo, insurance, etc.) but have been pretty lucky to not get too many outside ones. we have our # unlisted. maybe that helps...

So THAT'S what it means to have all your "ducks in a row"! Ha ha! I LOVE duck butts! Makes me laugh every time I see them do that! Great shot!

We only have cell phones. We, too, are on the Do Not Call list. The only time we STILL get calls is during the political season. Then we get the computer calls. I don't know how they get around it. It's easy for us to recognize the calls since it's a SD area code where we are registered and we don't live there! So we can easily avoid the phone calls.

Tea all the way!

Usually I play phone police, if I get a call from an phone number I do not recognize, then I don't answer it. I know it's a telemarketor. However, if I answered the phone and I immediately state for them to put me on their no-call list and then politely hang up. Sometimes, they'll beat me to the punch only they aren't polite about it.

Oh, yes, this is super. I just love the synchronized diving. I'm very fond of ducks, and duck butts are so cute.
Canada has a do-not-call list but I'm sure telemarketers use it for leads.
I hate the automated calls, especially the ones aimed at scamming old ladies. I'm not that old yet, but my heart hurts for the ones who are.
Coffee. I love coffee. I drink tea when it's offered, and I enjoy it, but left to my own devices, it's coffee. These days it is half a cup of milk with coffee added. Home style latté.
I don't put sugar into either one of them, but I have been known to add hot chocolate to my coffee vice versa.

What a fantastic capture!!!!

I hang up on machines. I tell the real people to take me off the list and not call back.

If they persist, then they find out why I'm called the Japanese Redneck.....

I LOVE the synchronized diving!! I don't know how you managed to catch something that fast! And your header blew me away! We are on the No Call list, too, and we still get tons of these calls at all hours of the day! If they are a charity, or a company you have ever had dealings with, they are allowed to call. But we have been getting a lot about lowering our mortgage interest rate. I don't like to answer them, but Phil does, because with most of them, they give you an option to push a number and be removed from the list. Then they should not call anymore.

I don't get unsolicited phone calls, but I think it works differently with cell phones than landlines.

I don't remember unsolicited calls when I was living in Canada...

Perfect row shots...ducks and butts! Love it!

Yes we get those annoying phone calls! I just hang up because it doesn't matter how many times you hit 2 or whatever number they tell you to hit to be removed from their list, it never works!

Tea!

I do all of the above, screen, not answer, answer and tell them that I am on the do not call list. They usually appologize. But the Robot calls are different, I am not sure how to tell the robot not to call back? Sometimes they have an option at the end of the greeting and you can either press the # or the * sign, but many of these calls do not have this option. I hear ya, not sure what to do either. Unless, we can report the number?

That's one of my favorites out of all your pics!
I do get those annoying calls and we're on a no call list. Sometimes my son will answer just to say something off the wall to them and we just laugh.
Coffee is a must in the morning and I'm hooked on french vanilla lattes. The rest of the day I drink sweet tea. YUMMY!

Cute ducks, they are adorable with their butts up out of the water. Great capture.

I have caller ID :)

When I get one, I always have thoughts before of just being rude because they don't listen when you say no, so I just listen and wait for them to finish the halang and then say. No. I'm not interested.

But I can never be rude. ugh. all bark and no bite.

I figure they are doing a job too, but now I just don't answer unless it's family

Well, I don't think I've ever seen duck butts in a row :-) I don't think I'll see them again either.

Hilarious!
