The beautiful Gaillardia, also know as the Blanket Flower, has bloomed in my yard all summer long. Even as summer draw to an end it will continue blooming through the fall.
The theme for this week's

A beautiful progression, even the last one is pretty. Well, I should wait for the Amazon tablet, but the Samsung Galaxy is the only one to rival the i-Pad, and I think I will be getting it! I hope I don't regret it! I hear they are phones as well. Geez, I can't imagine talking into a 10 inch tablet!
Gorgeous macros.
These are beautiful flowers and long lasting indeed.
As I see in the third photo you have many of them. It must be a beautiful view to see them in such a large group.
Your photos are stunning, lovely gesture to add the tribute.
They must make a beautiful, colourful show. It's so nice to have something that has a long flowering season.
we call them indian blankets here in texas. sadly ours bloomed early and all died out due to the drought and severe heat, but i'll enjoy yours here!
I'm enjoying mine as much as you seem to be enjoying yours.
Great shots.
Your beautiful end of summer flowers are, as usual, stunning. And I appreciate your low key commemoration of 9/11 -- and of course we will always remember. Hugs to you and yours, Judy!
Beautiful shots Judy! Especially the last.
Thanks for participating!
