Digital Tomatoes

I was out at our local community garden a few days ago and spotted these pretty little tomatoes. Because three of them were in a row I knew this shot would be great for Pat's Things in a Row.

Thursday also means it's time for Thursday Two Questions.

A few days ago my hubby and I were talking about the advances in technology over the last two decades. There are so many new devices and improvements that it has dramatically changed our lives. One new device is the digital camera. Things have come a long way since I used the SLR camera in my header. Film was expensive so taking a photo was something you really had to think about back then.

1) How has technology changed your life in the past few years?

2) What electronic device would you miss the most if it suddenly went away tomorrow?

Bonus question: Chips or popcorn?

1) Technology has opened up a whole new world for me, and creating opportunities for me to make some pocket money that otherwise I wouldn't have.

2) I would miss my digital camera and computer the most, since these two connected..

Bonus answer: popcorn!

definitely would miss the laptop most as i'm such a blog-addicted soul right now. my way of connecting across this wide world...

and, yes, i love digital cameras. take 400 shots, pare it down to 200, then pick 15 favorites from those... gotta love it...

I am addicted to blogging, both reading and writing, so I'd miss that on my precious iMac. I love iChat and Skype. And digital cameras! I take pictures with abandon now.

I think I would miss my cell phone the very most, since I use it daily and it keeps me in touch with the people I care about.

I don't eat either chips OR popcorn but if I had to choose one, it would be popcorn.

my whole daily life depends on the new tech stuff. blogging, paying bills, email so internet is number one, but the digital camera shares number one, and so does HD TV and the DVR... all 3 hubby and i would be lost and probably fight a lot. don't use a cell phone or IPAD or IPOD but i know people who can not live without the cell.

Nothing tastes so great as tomatoes fresh off the vine! Yum!

I have a Canon 35 mm from the '80s. Aye yi aye the cost of film! So I do LOVE the digital age now and the DSLR cameras!

And I LOVE my laptop....where would I be without blogging and meeting all my blogging friends?

1]....it's meeting all bloggers. I love the treasures shared with bloggers' lives.

2] The garage door opener.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, just look at those tomatoes. Yum. There just isn't anything better than home grown tomatoes.

Your tomatoes look yummy there all in a row!
BLT's with fresh tomaotes - yummy!

What ONE would I be lost without?
First thought is my laptop that keeps me connected in the blogworld and the internet but
I think my camera would have to be it. These last four years since I've had my digital it has become a part of me that I take everywhere because I aim for 'that' shot. While I would miss having the computer to share it. It really is what gives me joy.
Chips!!

Technology has changed my life because of two things. It made me blog, and that made me have photography as a hobby, thus showing me so much beauty that I had been missing. So in this case tech really enhanced nature! Speaking of which, I'm getting a tablet, but not the iPad brand, maybe the Samsung Galaxy. Any tips or suggestions? I mainly want not so much weight on my legs, and all those cool apps!! They even have cameras in them now!

1) Technology has made me more oblivious to the things happening around me. I spend WAY too much time with electronics.

2) I would miss my Android phone if it went away! It is my calendar, alarm clock, and link to electronics when I am away from the house.

Bonus question: Chips or popcorn? I prefer chips to popcorn

Yummy picture!

1) I definitely am more dependent on computers than ever before.

2) My iPod. I'm addicted to my music. There's about 800 songs on it and I know exactly what song comes after each one.

Bonus: Popcorn. With lotza butter.

The internet has had the biggest impact in my life. I love staying in touch with my family through email, paying bills online, working from home and now BLOGGING!

I would miss cell phones the most, because they allow me to have instant contact with my teenager. :) When he answers, LOL!

1) You can type a check in LA and print it in San Diego...just like that, I quit my job of 17 years because they were "back to the future" and that was 6 years ago...

2) Laptop and camera and no popcorn.

The power outage is in Orange county, starting in San Clemente towards San Diego. Luckily, there is a little breeze, so it is not that hot here, but still close to a 100.

1. Well I did much more reading before I got a computer :) The internet has made it possible for me not only to make money but be able to blog and connect with so many other bloggers and friends.

2. I would hands down miss my camera. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Technology has enabled me to do things more efficiently, cutting out the middle man when possible. Saving more time and obtaining incredible knowledge with any subject of my desire.
I would miss the internet most, as this is currently my library, my source of information.

Love your new header picture. I loved taking pictures with my SLR and developing them. I REALLY love taking pictures with my digital and seeing them immediately! :)

1) We got our hotspot and I really enjoyed being able to take my computer to church to show all of the ladies and my mom (great grandma) pictures of my latest great nephew born in Mexico. I still stare in wonder at the way we can work and play on the computer wirelessly!

2) My husband's pacemaker/defibulator...

BOTH!!!! I like both chips and popcorn!
