If you look up to the top of the hill you will see a field of wheat. Our little town is surrounded by thousands of acres of wheat as well as other crops. We see a lot of amber waves of grain this time of the year. For a closer look see the photo below.
Both of these photos were taken just before the wheat was harvested. Some of it could wind up on your table.

Amber waves of grain... the picture says it all. And I also smiled when I looked at that tiger lily in the banner.
this is a beautiful sight i have not seen with my own eyes except in movies. so beautiful and now I am singing about amber waves of grain, be glad you can't here me, since it is not as pretty as the photos.
I'll take mine as Whole Wheat or Whole Grain please!
