I took this photo over the weekend for Pat's Things in a Row. The idea for the photo was to capture the three black umbrellas outside this little cafe but now I see several 'things in a row', how about you?Thursday means it time for Thursday Two Questions.
It's summer in my part of the world so let's talk about grilling and picnics.
1) What is your favorite grilled food?
2) When you are preparing for a picnic, do you make everything yourself or pick it all up at the deli or somewhere similar?
Bonus question: What do you like on your hot dog?

1) tofu - 2) pick it up at the deli, and 3) as a vegetarian, I don't eat hot dogs. It's been at least 40 years!
I love your in a "row" photo. I think my favourite grilled food is Steak, actually I don't usually eat steak made anyother way. I usually make everything for a picnic, I'm a finicky eater and only trust myself for clean meal preparation. I love a whistle dog. A whistle dog has a slice of cheese, hamburger relish and is a slice of bacon wrapped around it, and then it is wrapped in tin foil and heated through on the barbecue or in the oven.
1 - hamburgers with onions and crackers mixed into the patty.
2 - haven't done a 'picnic' in forever, but i'd never make it myself
3 - a bit charred all the way around and eaten with just mustard and ketchup (if anything) in a bun.
Favorite grilled food would be anything!! I don't do picnics, for three reasons: heat, crying children, bugs. On my hot dog, a bit of mustard on half, nothing on the other half. Must eat the mustard half last!!.

1. My favorite grilled food is salmon. Wild British Columbia sockeye salmon, grilled by one of my brothers, doesn't matter which one.
2. I usually prepare everything myself, but would prefer to pick it all up at a deli or some where similar.
3. I like mustard, NO ketchup, and green relish on a hot dog, but I only eat hot dogs at baseball games.

I don't like sausages, but grilled sausages on a barbecue is fantastic. However, I think my best grilled food is aubergine (egg-plant).
I usually prepare the picnic myself. I don't do many, so I feel I have to make it all.

My favorite grill food is boneless chicken thighs.
I usually do everything myself now a days.

I love to cook out a good home-grown beef steak.
When having a picnic, all is prepared and packed by me.
The thing I love most on hot dogs is sweet relish and mustard.

1) I love grilled food, especially vegetables.

1. We don't grill much outside...just too dang hot. However, when we do I love my special hamburgers. I mix Lipton dried onion/mushroom soup in the lean hamburgers....scrumptious
2. Picnic season here is the spring or fall. We'd probably go by Jersey Mikes for one of our favorite subs.
3. My favorite hot dog is at the N. C. State Fair in Oct. We both get a foot long. I'm a simple gal I just like mustard and ketchup.

On the rare occasions that we go on a picnic, I always bring our own food.

burgers are my favorite grilled food and I do the deli or KFC thing for picnics or just make sandwiches. I like relish mustard catsup on hotdogs and sometimes just mayo on the hotdog
forgot to say, have not been on a picnic in about 10 plus years. also have not had a hotdog in about a year, even though I love them.

Cool picture! I like taking shots like this with things lining up. It really makes for a nice shot.
1) Hamburgers and hotdogs are my favorites on the grill. Yum, I wish you hadn't asked me this question now.
2) Most of the time when we have a picnic it's really simple - sandwiches. Occasionally, we'll stop at KFC to pick up chicken and that's always a nice treat.

Hard to pick a favorite grilled food, seems everything tastes better on the grill! I think I'd pick steak tho..
We usually go on picnics with a group and I make guacamole..
When I eat hot dogs...chili, cheese, onions..the works!

1, I like almost anything grilled but I'd have to say hamburgers, hotdogs and grilled corn and zucchini are my favorites.
2. For picnics, I always make all the food myself. The only thing I pick up at a store is the wine or beer or both :)

I will have to pay attention for this three in a row thing. Yours is quite artistic.
Sometimes I grab something, like a salad from the deli, other times I make something. I believe grilling gives more flavor to meats, but understand it is not healthy.
Hot dogs aren't a healthy choice either, but sometimes you just have to have one and I like mustard.
