Let's talk about television. I rarely watch it in the summer but seems like every time I turn it on there's an ad for a reality show.
1) Do you watch reality television shows? It is really popular here in the US and I'm wondering if that is the case in other countries too.
2) If you do, which one is your favorite? If you don't, what are your feelings on reality television?
Bonus question: Pizza or burgers?

I think it's a sad state of affairs that the BBC seems to be doing more reality TV than original shows. I suppose it's cheaper, but then there are no ads on BBC.
The other channels are following suit. There are just too many.
I do watch some. I like the X-Factor.
I love the post row.
My life is a reality show so I try to avoid them on tv. Whose reality are those anyway? The only one I watched is gone. I watch history and science shows so I guess those could be called reality shows.
Burgers or pizza...neither.

1. Yes I watch 2 reality shows.
2. I have watched EVERY season of The Amazing Race (and some reruns).
I watch Dancing with the Stars...depending on who is on it. I love anything with dancing.
3. OH THAT IS a hard one...but since our favorite local Pizzeria just closed after 25 years in business...I'll have to say

1. yes, i do watch some reality tv - but not as much as my husband. he watches the real housewives and several other ones i couldn't stomach.
2. survivor is my favorite. we've watched every season faithfully. all of the other reality shows are hit and miss, but survivor is a given.

I've tried to watch some reality shows, but they really don't grab me. I now avoid them.
Since I'm a vegetarian, the only burger I might eat would be a veggie burger, but pizza can be wonderful without any meat at all, so pizza.
reality shows bore me to tears because they are NOT reality. how can it be REAL if there is a camera on you all the time, that means you act the way they want you to not the way you would act knowing you were being watched. hubby likes the cop reality and i keep telling him the cops are NOT going to act REAL when they know there is a camera aimed at them. love pizza and burger and it is hard to choose between them, but burger is a slim number one

The only kind of reality shows I like are competition like Dancing with the Stars or American Idol.

Love your in a row shots. I don't watch reality Tv. but it seems to be popular here as well. I share my TV viewing with my young son and he seems to watch a great deal of these "opinion" shows, like Soup, and video game views. Kinda weird but I sit through them and read. I think the reality shows are probably a lot less expensive for tv mogels to produce, not big stars to pay, but I DO NOT find them entertaining, I actually really hat Hells Kitchen, I think that just promotes abuse. I wouldn't work for someone like that no matter how hungry I was.
Yes, I like some reality TV shows, but the ones that go over the top bother me--the ones that are take advantage of people.

I love reality tv, and am a bit of a junkie... and since I'm Canadian I guess it's wide spread... my fave show is Big Brother and The Amazing Race.
I'd have to choose burgers over pizza, but only homemade, not store bought. Yuck.

But we do watch stuff like top chef, next food network star, america's got talent
We love them!!!!! But not the ones where people suffer or get hurt on islands!!! Our first and favorite is Project Runway. But we also love Top Chef, Design Star, The Next Food Network Star, Shear genius, well, you get the point!! We never miss an episode of any of these, good thing we have a TiVo! Love the roadside shot! Seems all the pretty wildflowers now are on the side of the highway where there is no place to stop or get out and snap!
I don't like reality TV, but I watch it when there is nothing else to do and I am bored.
I don't know if there is such a thing as 'reality' shows, if you know what I mean. But, I do enjoy them and my favorite is Celebrity Apprentice followed by The Apprentice.

If I have time, then I will, but I don't always follow through. Too much bickering. I do like to watch Amazing Race and So you think you can dance. I love dancing.

I'm mostly a history channel and the like type of tv watcher. BUT, I do love American Idol and Survivor. Overall, I don't watch a lot of TV.

Love the fence, the last storm broke a huge branch which fell on mine and I no longer have a side fence. This is where the school children cut through three yards to get to the other street when they are dropped off the school bus.
My husband controls the television and I do not think I would care to watch reality tv anyway. I like mysteries, medicine and Hallmark. lol
I prefer pizza over burgers. Got to watch the red meat!
I don't have time to watch TV. The TV is dominated by Miss T, and I don't care for cable. I have Netflix, and I have been devouring Desperate Housewives when I can. It's great, no commercials.
I don't think I even know of one that I watch. My kids watch a couple.
I couldn't believe it, but sorry about not making it here last week. I had been cleaning out my mom's house, so the last couple of months were a blur.
