Science, or para-science, tells us that geraniums bloom better if they are spoken to. But a kind word every now and then is really quite enough. Too much attention, like too much feeding, and weeding and hoeing, inhibits and embarrasses them.

Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Beautifully done. Love the color too!

Just beautiful pictures!!! Well, I love the quote, and this reminds me of back in the seventies, when it was all the rage to play classical music for your plants, and talk to them! I think heavy metal made them sick?!
Love that first shot!
Your second shot is very unique and lovely as well.
Have a great weekend.
My father's favorite flowers were red geraniums. That reminds me I don't have any out this year. Need to go buy a couple this morning. I haven't seen many this year. Like your quote too.
Beautiful bright red flower.
Sweet pictures! Though I've tried many times, I haven't been able to grow geraniums. Probably too much attention.
Your second photo is such a clever shot. I love your quote too, it brought a smile to my face this morning.
Wow...how interesting!! Beautiful.
Have a blessed day!
How delightful for me nice photos and quote!
Geraniums are very special flowers, in my opinion. They have a certain smell that makes me think of my childhood and all kinds of good stuff. I will try not to embarrass any that I run across! :-)
Spectacular red and I love your presentation. Hope you have a great weekend.
So pretty! Thanks for joining this week!
Maybe that's what's wrong with my geraniums, I haven't talked to them :0)
Beautiful picture.
exquisite...truly!
Very pretty!

Your photo through the looking glass is amazing.
Your quote is right, these humble flowers enchant us with their blooms and ask for nothing in exchange.
J, what an beautifully unique picture....is the rose growing in your garden?
Hugs Madi and Mom
Sounds like flowers need alone time....just like humans!
Beautiful shots! The color is so rich!
Absolutely love that shot through the glass! And now I must go out to the porch and talk to the geraniums :)
Beautiful shots! And I love the quote!
Wonderful! Love that vibrant color and the great quote.
Your blooms are so lovely.

Beautiful flower and a thought provoking quote.
gorgeous! i love the first photo! the light and the softness..
Light Trigger:our entry
Geraniums are easy to please, with the much attention my mother gives to them, they still survive in her garden.
These flowers are beautiful. I love the light and color emerge.
Beautiful photos! I'm not buying the quote though. I've tried "speaking" to ours. They just sit there and never reply!
Plus if you give them too much attention they start expecting more and more...
Oh dear, I guess that's why geraniums are doing poorly. What to say, I must go out and apologize.
your first shot looks like one from the magazine, it is really good :)))
They are such hardy plants and rewarding plants, the less you do for them, the better they flower. Mine flower all year round, I just dead-head them and chop them back now and again when they become leggy and off they go again.
Nice shots.
The geraniums are beautiful and I love the quote.
Pretty.
Holy Molly, that's lovely!
More Color Connection, have a great week ahead.
I like that quote. People can sometimes even talk too much to plants.
Gorgeous shots!
Beautiful. The color is fantastic.
Lovely blooms and cute quote.
Oh, this one is delicate.
Fabulous concept...this reminds me of a funny argument my husbnad and I had before... I wanted to buy a macro lens and he told me "I 'm gonna buy you a magnifying glass instead" and laughed so hard. :)
