Cheap Sunglasses

............. make interesting lens filters. I was taking some photos in my yard the other day. I had my sunglasses on top of my head so they wouldn't be in the way when I looked through the viewfinder when it hit me, why not try the glasses as a filter just for fun.

Here, I'll move the glasses away from the lens a bit so you can see what I did. They are not the sharpest quality of photos because trying to hold the glasses and the camera at the same time was a little awkward.

We photographers just want to have fun, right MadSnapper?

As soon as it stops raining, I might try that! Looks good on you, but we'll see about me. Fun idea, however.

That's a very good idea. I might try that one too since the sun is too bright and will see what I can come up because your shots are gorgeous!

It's fun to experiment at times.

What a fun thing to try!! I thought the sunglasses would make it much darker or change the tint, but the picture looks normal! Very strange.

I think I'll be a copycat and try your idea!

COLOR DILEMMA

Yellow or red—which shall it be?
Red for you and yellow for me?

Perhaps you’d rather have yellow instead—
Which leaves me, of course, with handfuls of red!

Whichever hue you decide to choose,
I’ll take the other—no one will lose!

What a neat idea! I would not have thought about it. The color projected a subtle redness.

Very cool Judy! The first photo is beautiful and I like the unique look of the second.
It's been raining for two days. The first day of sunshine I have some rose colored glasses I'll just have to experiment with. :)

I have noticed that things reflect in my glasses but just never figured out how to capture it. You are so clever!

Fun! I would be curious how my shades will project the images.
