The cover is fantastic, and the sentence describing a bird that I haven't not seen before: zone-tailed hawk!
Over the top, 5* post. I absolutely LOVE birds and this is a wonderful presentation.
i like the cover of the book.
Great visual excerpt...thanks for sharing. Love the cover, too.
Here's MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
He's pretty. I like black and white creatures like penguins, tuxedo cats, pandas, etc. He's a beauty.
Bet this is fascinating and fun!
Thanks for participating!
I'm still on the same book as last week.
Haven't had much time for reading this past week.
I like your red-winged blackbird. That is exactly where they sit here, on the edges of busy highways so I can't get a picture. I am a bufflehead myself this morning, have a bad head cold.
B is for Bufflehead..now that is a creative title for a book!!!
Mom has several Cat reference books one she especially likes is 'The Little Big Book of Cats',the sentence on page 56 that grabbed mom was
"Don't pick up your new charge without first setting up a scratching post."
Happy Friday and Hugs

haven't hear of zone-tailed ones before. we have lots of red-tailed ones in my parts.
The cover is a perfect attraction to primary readers with all of its lovely colors.
Your post is very timely for me. My daughter was just telling me yesterday she wanted her little girls babysitter to start teaching them the ABC's. I should look into this book. :
