This has been an eventful past week in world news but I'm not going to question you about any of those items. My questions for you today deal with the where and how.
1) What is your favorite source of news? In other words, when you want to know what's happening in the world where do you look first?
2) Which source of news do you trust the most? Or the least?

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO

1) I tune in to CNN news when I want to know what happened in the world.
2) My favorite would be PBS..they are reliable without too much fanfare!
Gorgeous lilac(?) Judy!
The plaque on the tree is very pretty and your lilac is beautiful!
On television Al Jazeera's reporting is all-encompassing,I like CNN, Sky is sometimes good, the BBC is more and more parochial and sloppy. I rely on BBC radio or BBC on my laptop.
The least reliable sources of news are the Red Top papers which sensationalise everything.
Happy Cinco de Mayo to you all too,
1. I watch the local news at 5 on one channel and 6 pm on another channel. Often we find some subtle differences. I watch National news at 6:30
2. I trust live news more so than newspaper. We continue to be amazed a the 'errors' in our newspaper.
Great questions which made Mom's gray matter work this morning.
Hugs to you all Madi and Mom
I find the TV news to be really bad, except for PBS and especially the Newshour, my favorite. But I find that news on the internet is better, I usually read the New York Times and Yahoo news gives me a good look at several different possibilities. Huffington Post is also a favorite. I don't watch Fox News and think it's the worst.
We usually watch the local news and the weather channel.
I think our local newspaper is not accurate a lot of times.
MSN.com is my first source. NBC tv is my go-to for more info.
NPR and my local newspaper--every morning!
Loved these pictures!
my computer first and always, i can't stand to watch the news on TV because of all the blah blah, i do watch when things happen like the tornado. but for daily news i have several breaking news that come in email, my local newspaper comes in email. hubby likes to watch CNN if i am walking through i read the banner on the bottom which is where they put things other than the one item of news they are beating to death for days and days. then i google to find the info i want to know.
i don't trust any of them at all and always take what i read/hear with a lot of grains of salt
Really beautiful photos!
All the best

Beautiful pink lilac and the bird plague!
1) PBS is my source for news and entertaining.
2) I found the internet has a great sources of news too, and little to none of the commercial.
I love the wonderful burst of flowers there.
1) I look for news on the internet, Google search.
2) I don't know if I trust any of them completely. Weird, but I always have my doubts about how it has been digested before it gets to me.
My favorite source of news is still the T.V. When anything breaks, I turn on Headline News, Fox News, or CNN. In fact, I watch them quite a bit anyway. I also trust them more because there have been scandals with the paper lately about journalists making up sources or doctoring their stories. But with T.V., the big news stations have so many people vetting stories, that dosn't happen as much. They have to check their stories every which way before they say a word.
First I love these shots. Those are my kinda photos. Very nice.
1. Since my TV died, I've been getting all my news online. Yahoo news and Facebook and Twitter.
2. To be honest I don't completely trust any news source.
I depend upon and trust CNN. Next, I go to my newspaper for national and regional news.
Love your photos!
I read the local papers for news or TV if I have time. But when it is urgent I tune in to the local AM teleradyo (a Filipino channel worldwide online, wifi and audio!) for updates. I try to read as many references about the news to get several feedbacks.
I usually read news on the internet, but when I'm not online. I watch the local news network.
I read news on the net.. instant gratification!
Unbiased reporting is what I like best.. I can draw my own conclusions. BBC, PBS, AP are a few.
I am LOVING that bird plaque you have! That is really cool!
I usually read my news online - MSN is my main 'go to', though I keep tabs of the Seattle area where I grew up too. :)
I like NPR, CNN and MSNBC. I get so annoyed at the lies, bigotry and slant found on some stations.
Love your header!
1. I usually log on and click on links to read the news. If I listen then I get an anxiety feeling. Seems they are employed by how they can use their voice to scare you.
2. I take the news with a grain of salt. I dont' really trust it as it's bent to be the most um (ok can't find the word)
But there is a song: 'Cause when they own the information, oh they can bend it all they want" :)
Happy Mother's Day weekend!
These days I feel that the news is so slanted to one side or another, that you never really get the true story. Also, the news (especially on TV) spends far too much time trying to make news.
I live in one of the most conservative counties in the country, but I vote based on issues not party affiliation. It's SO hard to get ANY non-biased reporting here...
I am constantly amazed at how beautiful the world is through your pictures!!
