Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.

Yum, your pics always remind me of the good things about spring and summer. A big deal since I'm a fall/winter kind of girl. Gorgeous!
I so want to plant lilacs in my garden, they look lovely and smell beautiful :)
Love the lilacs, and I recognize that balloon in the last picture! Very nice composition, Judy.

What a great way to start the day!
Pretty!
I'd love to walk around your back yard, with my camera of course! I really can smell those lilacs, there is nothing like their scent. What is the red white and blue in the background of the last picture, is it one of the hot air balloons? It looks like it, but I can't believe you would have been taking pictures of your yard if there were balloons there.
I bring my camera too when I walk and take a snap of all the flowers I see. Great photos.
My entry.
I have white lilacs and I know that scent - heavenly isn't it!
Gorgeous shots and I LOVE that quote!
You header really pops off the page. :)

Oh I wish I could smell the lilacs! Your photos are absolutely stunning!!
I really like your last photo - very clever and very effective. I also love your quote and wholeheartedly agree, being a nature lover as I am.
Definitely do try some macro filters, I think you will have lots of fun with them.
Hi Judy! You don't have to say how sweet they smell, it shows in your picture and ummm I could smell it!
What a great walk you had. Spring time is my favorite time of year. Great captures
I grew up with a large lilac hedge between our house and our neighbors. The bushes were planted alternating white and purple, and every spring smelled beautiful. Thanks for the visit yesterday!
That first shot is just stunning!
Yes it's beautiful lilacs and smell good too!. We used to have those in my previous house!

Uma foto mais linda que a outra! Parabéns!
Stunning flowers!
Beautiful color and light in the first photo!
Like everyone else here I love lilacs. They have long been my favorite flower. There is nothing prettier than an arrangement with all the different purple shades mixed with white. And the aroma is one of the most pleasant smells.
A great way to start a fresh day!

i love morning walks, thanks for taking me with you! :)
It looks like you are having sunshine! We've had very little of it. In fact, we've had near record rain. However, everything is so lush because of it.
I think I CAN smell those lilacs!
Hmmm -- lilac fragrance-- Although they are in bloom and magnificent, Rochester's Lilac Festival is taking a beating with the weather -- sigh -- I love your header!! That was one great hot-air balloon catch!!
