Taking My Time

When the ducks are playing in the water it really stirs things up and, almost like clouds, there are many shapes to be found. I didn't see the heart at first but if you look in front of the Wood Duck you will see an almost perfect heart. There are other shapes too (my fav is the goblet), what do you see? Be sure to visit Clytie's Guest Heart Thursday for more hearts.

It's also time for Thursday Two Questions!

1) This Friday is my stepdaughter's birthday, she's a tax day baby. So, for those in the US, are your taxes done or will you wait until the last possible moment?

2) Do you like to get things done as far ahead of time as possible or are you a procrastinator?

I did our taxes back in February. It depends on the project but sometimes I just barely finish before a deadline.

I see one GORGEOUS duck! But I do see those shapes too! VERY nicely done!!!

Our taxes were done in Feb too. I hate putting things off - paperwork I'll pounce on and get it done. Housecleaning, not so much...

For once, I saw the heart right away!!! Your shot of the duck, with the white feathery pattern on his side, is wonderful!!! I'm for getting things done early or I worry, Phil pts them off. And he gets just enough reinforcement to keep procrastinating. Because with some things, when he puts them off, then it turns out he doesn't have to do them at all! We get our taxes done very early. That's one thing he never puts off!

I can see a monkey's head just below the heart and to the right. I am a procrastinator to my disgust.

Squirrel, your header as always and your photo are spectacular.

1. Mine have been done for a while now.

2. I like to get things done in advance. My Mom always told me "don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today" and that has always stuck in my head.

Amazing colors on that duck.

Taxes done.

Depends on whether we owe or get back!

Our accountant takes care of our taxes, and he makes sure we're never late!

The duck sure created lots of amazing shapes.

Tax schedule in my country too!
I try to do things early but sometimes I fail. I learn from it as well.

I see the heart! I love that duck too. I have never seen one like it in person.

beautiful!!!

1. In Norway we get the Tax papers (selvangivelse) with all the information already on it. So we just check if the numbers are correct and if they are we don't have to do anything. So I am finished:)

2. Postpone everything!

What a beautiful duck - the heart is absolutely stunning!

1. Taxes at accountants, it's her problem now :=}

2. Some things I procrastinate something terrible, but mostly i'm an early bird. I like what Poetic Shutterbug said "never put off until tomorrow what you can get done today". We always finished it off with "because if you LIKE it, you can do it again tomorrow!"

I see the heart and goblet; love the colors of the duck's feathers!

I like to do mine right away but hubby and I are filing together so it will be the last last moment.

Wow! A perfect heart. Incredible. Can I have that? :-) Happy BD to your step daughter, hope you have time to do something fun with her.
1) My taxes are done with pain and sweat, but this year SO is not even there yet... due date is 4/18 this year.
2) I like to get things done, but over the years I have learned to do them closer to the date they are required, given myself more time. I like my old self better. :-0

I had to come back and see this beautiful duck again, and I found another heart! It's a reflection in the water just to the right of the duck's head.

The photo of the duck is just out of this world, so beautiful.

1) Tax? What's that? I thought we are in a recession..

2) I jump when the water touches my chin so is that make me a procrastinator?

Joking aside, everything is done!

1. We already did our taxes and received the returns. I'm glad it worked out.

2. I'm both a planner and procrastinator :)

Aloha!
