Mr. Peacock was doing his daily commute across the bridge, usually a quick trip unless there was turtle traffic. Mr. Turtle was in no hurry today as the sun was warm and this was a good place to soak up a few rays. As this is a family oriented blog we cannot print the quote we have from Mr. Peacock.
this is a great capture, i love the elongated look of the peacock prancing across the bridge. they have white peacocks at Jungle gardens here, and colored ones run wild at the flea market.
This is a first for me too....I haven't ever seen a white one...neat! A couple of years ago we had a peacock just show up on our place...he spent a couple of days here and then he left. I was hoping he would stay...:-(
I love peacocks. They are such gorgeous birds, even without the multi-colored feathers! And your reflection is amazing. Mr (?) Peacock should gaze into the water and behold his beauty and chill out. lol
MOL we bet they are on the way to the grocery store and we expect that dang turtle will have a shell full of coupons just to make the process even slower. Thanks for the lol and what a beautiful Peacock. Hugs Madi and Mom
What wonderful contrast between the peacock and the turtle, not to mention their reflections. Gorgeous photo, perfect timing! But do tell us what Mr. Peacock said about the turtle. -- K

What an amazing catch!! I don't think I have ever seen a real white one, or a regular one either. Guess I will take Mr. Turtle's side on this one, no one likes a tailgater!!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
