Gotta Have Heart

For more hearts visit Clytie's Guest Heart Thursday. Look close and you will see hearts in the photo above. Don't look too close or you might spot a little visitor of the spidery kind.

Thursday also means it's time for Thursday Two-Questions.

1) Do you ever have lots and lots of ideas for blog posts and then sit down at the computer and your mind goes blank? Stare at the screen with fingers hovering above the keyboard and nothing comes out?

2) On the other hand how many "save as draft" posts do you have? The ones that aren't quite finished or you just changed your mind.

I'm not sure where the hearts are. Is it some of the leaves? I can find Mr Spider. I bought a macro lens today but still trying to work out how to use it even after reading instructions. Have you any tips for me?

awwww, beautiful!!! :)
1) I definitely have loads of ideas that need major follow-through, I just think it's important to get in the right writing mode -- even if there maybe rare or not as often as you wished. The outcome will be much better.

2) so many, btw, should get back to them! hehe!

have a good one, regards Judy!

LOL do you have a web cam in my house?
1.I normally take my pictures first. Then as I'm looking through them I come up with ideas. I prepare all my post on Sat. and Sunday....and sometimes I have 2 weeks prepared ahead. key word sometimes!!
2.I have 3 drafts currently all are Thursday Theme Songs

right now i have 2 scheduled and 3 in draft, they have been there for 2 weeks becuase i keep bumping them becuase i have something new. i draw a blank almost every time so what started doing is jotting on a pad my ideas as they come, i will get one while doing my hair and stop and go write down a few sentences. sometimes i look at the pad and think WHAT did i mean by this. i also if i get photos i want to use, i will pop them in a draft with not title and wait until i am inspired or not. i usually have 4 days on auto post, but then i find something else and put them back in draft. but on the other hand i have at times had no photos no ideas no nothing that i want to say. then i pick a photo and copy and paste a joke. now you know my secret

Hah! I had to laugh, but only at myself in regards to question #2...I didn't know you could save a draft to hold onto it. I have all my blogs on a flashdrive just because I didn't well, know! You learn something new everyday!
In response to the first question...no, I actually don't have tons of 'started' blogs. I'm like that though...I like things 'finished' and not hanging over my head.
However, I really like the idea of drafting/auto because when I am not on track out as I am now, I have a tendency to not put up a post for 3-4 days becuase I get so busy with school and just don't have the time to do so...goodness gracious SQ, thanks for all the info today!

My problem begins far before I find myself situated in front of the computer monitor. I get this brain lock thingy going. It bothers me so much at bedtime when I should be drifting off to lah-lah-land out of the blue an idea will dart into my mind. "What's this?" My eyes will shoot open for a second. :Oooo, yeah that'll make a great post. That is if I don't forget it by tomorrow morning." Then I go to sleep.

I, like the rest of the blogging community have a few imcompleted posts setting in drafts. Once a spark is generated, I try to get the idea plugged in before it escapes me. Often times, my ideas perform a mysterious Houdini vanishing act, never seeing the light of day.

Happy blogging!

Wonderful photo. I love clover, and I see the little white hearts in the blossom. Beautiful.
1. Every day is like that. I have a good idea that disappears as soon as I sit down in my computer chair.
2. I have several drafts I dare not delete because The Blogger Voice of Doom says "If you delete this draft, all these photos will be deleted from your blog" which scares me out of what few wits I have left.

Yes,I see the hearts and spider, lovely capture Judy!

Now,your two questions...almost forgot them after reading through comments, haha!
1)I do have lots of ideas and lots of pictures too-so I think a lot about how best to use them.I don't stare at the computer screen, rather I type out what I have to say then make any corrections.since my posts have many pictures,it takes time to put up.
2)Yes,I do have some posts in draft, some I work on and post,some...I delete.I also like to go over my old posts sometimes and update them, this is mostly on my travel blog- someone may ask a question/leave a comment and instead of a new post to answer that,I'll update an old post.

Good questions Judy.
Have a nice day.

I see the beautiful little white hearts in the clover! I see the spider too - though I might not have noticed him if you hadn't pointed him out.

Now for the questions ...

1. I do find that I have lots of ideas and the moment I sit at the keyboard I just ... um ... uh ... something ... now what was I thinking just then???

2. I just deleted 4 drafts that I never did finish and are now hopelessly out of date.

Snicker. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does this!

Love the picture! My mind always goes blank, so I keep a blog notebook. Every time I take new pictures or get an idea for a theme, I write it down, along with which folder the pictures are in so I can find them. Let's say I take a picture of a parade and want to talk about marching. I write "Marching, use parade pictures" then write down which picture folder they are in. I would be lost without my reminder notebook! I used to pre-schedule posts, but they started to mess up so I never do it now.

My answers;
1-If there are so many other thoughts in my mind, can't start to put ideas together to make a post so many times..
2-I have only one

Wish you a happy weekend!

1) Some time I sat and stare at the computer for hours, and then I take a look a the photos and it led me to do whatever post I want.

2) None at the moment!

1) Yes, I have a problem with this sometimes. I do think I have tons of ideas, then I get writers block - or brain blocked.
2) I have a couple of drafts, but they are not posts, they are there for reminders.

JamericanSpice said...

1. Yes I do have the ideas , but I just forget to write them.

2. I have quite a few save as drafts for that this very reason.

Enjoy your weekend!

Lots of ideas - not enough time to write them all! I often think, I'll just have a quick look at other people's blogs first before I post on mine ... and I always spend more time on your blog than I intend, Squirrel Queen! So many brilliant photos to distract me!
