Perchance to Dream

Dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask. ~X-Files

It's time for Thursday Two-Questions! My questions for you today related to dreams. I have heard people talk about dreaming in black and white but it is almost impossible for me to imagine not dreaming in vivid colors.
1) Have you ever dreamed in black and white, or do you even think it is possible?
2) Have you ever kept a record of your dreams?

I'll have to tell you after the next time I dream. I don't remember them after a few minutes.

I don't keep up with them.

I've written down dreams but never kept a record and I don't dream in black and white - ever!

1-I've never thought of it:)
2-I don't keep a dream journal but I remember some of my dreams that like a sign. Beautiful colors of the first pic brighten my day.

Never remember dreaming in black and white.

I don't journal my dreams, but I do try to remember them and then try to analyze the symbolism (either thru a dream 'dictionary' to help point me in the right direction or against my daylight life to see what my subconscious is trying to tell me.) :)

I have never dreamed in black & white, but I have heard of people doing this, though. Like most of you, I also dream in color. Sometimes it so life-like I will reach out in my dreams to touch something. This always wakes me up. lol

No, I have never kept a record of my dreams. There have been times that I've wondered what certain ones meant. However, I never put a great deal of thought into trying to learn the meaning behind a dream.

If I remember my dream at all, Judy, they are in colors, vivid colors, and black and white.

I had a dream I remember very well that was in black and white when I was a child...of course, it was also set at night, and we don't see much color then anyways.

I have written down my dreams.

As always, beautiful photos.

I've never noticed if my dreams were in grayscale or full color. I think they're in color although not as colorful as that part in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy opens the front door and everything is in vibrant, mind-blowing COLOR.

Usually don't think very much about colour connected to dreams (more about the content) but when you mention it I recall a dream many many years ago which was in black-and-white and WITH SUBTITLES (as we usually get foreign movies here).

And yes I do sometimes write dreams down, I'm quite interested in dream analysis and have found dreams helpful in getting to know myself better.

I have dreamed in black and white, just like an old movie. How strange that no one has asked me that question, or I have never heard anyone asked that question. I guess most people don't have this kind of dream?

I have never kept a record, but do know that the ones I kept dreaming over and over again are the ones that I am still stuck on emotionally.

Oh, JUDY!! My heart is melting over the first picture!!! You INSPIRE me!!! I have never dreamed in black and white and can't imagine it, mine are vivid colors. Never kept a record, either, as they are mostly nightmares that I want to forget. We have read about dream interpretation, though, and like to practice that, some dreams are pretty easy to figure out if you know the symbolism.

Yes, I dream in monochrome and in color. Dreaming, after all, is being in another state, which is why they say we should record or remember our dreams because they reveal something about ourselves.

Surprisingly, I don't record mine. I get too preoccupied with my waking schedules! ;-)

I love the second photo, looks classic. I've already dreamt in black and white but would love to see them in sepia. I always try what my dream was everyday, like yesterday I dreamt of Mom and Dad, I guess they're just reminding me that it's Mom's birthday today.

Your flowers are gorgeous in both color and monochrome.

1) I don't think I have dreams in black and white.

2) I can't remember my dreams most of the time, so I couldn't keep a record!

Beautiful flower.

I wonder the same thing because I've never dreamed in black and white. It was always vivid colors.

No I've not kept a record of my dreams, however some I do still remember.

2.) no, I've never kept a journal of my dreams...should I?

thanks for a fun post!

1)All the colours of the rainbow!

2)I sometimes make notes about a dream if it is particularly vivid but doesn't make any sense immediately after I've had it. The meaning - or reason why I had it - often becomes clearer after a few days. If not, I might be able to use it as inspiration for a story.

My dreams are always in color and they are so vivid that I often awake having to shake them. Unfortunately sometimes the blaring music of the alarm clock causes them to flee. lol
