The top photo is of Sissi Cat and the second photo is her sister Bandit, two of our little feral kittens. Maybe it's just me but I think the markings around Bandit's nose look like part of an upside down heart. We'll have to see what Clytie thinks! Visit Guest Heart Thursday to see more hearts.

I agree about Bandit's upside down heart!!!
1. Yes we use coupons at the store....well my hubby does. Since he is retired I prepare the grocery list and menu for the week. He shops!!
2. My trick for saving money at the store is 'not to go'!!! I have a bad habit of adding things to the cart. Hubby only buys what is on the list.

Those kitties are definitely precious. I don't use coupons and just buy what I need. I know some people save lots of money but then they buy brands and things they wouldn't otherwise.
I use coupons some. Not always because my this is based on the second question.
My main money saving tip is to try and buy as much as possible on sale.
So that takes us back to the 1st question. Most of the time, if I'm buying something on sale, it's a store brand or a product that that ends up being cheaper than the ones that I have a coupon for.

As for coupons, yes, I use them but shop online.
For number two, I make a list and shop online as much as possible. It saves fuel and time and avoids the temptation of attractively stacked shelves. (Sometimes I go out to shop and then I indulge myself . . . )

If I have to do a lot of grocery shopping, I'll drive the extra 20 min. to Walmart to load up there. (Sorry hometown highly-priced grocery store!)
1. I try, though they usually end up being left at home or in my purse forgotten, sort of like the cloth grocery bags in my trunk.
2. Stick to your list, don't take your husband or kids and don't shop while hungry.
I think there's a right-side up heart on Bandit's nose, to the right in the photo.
My husband does the shopping and he uses coupons like crazy. Unfortunately, the coupons are often for things we don't need, but he buys them anyway because he has a coupon.
He reads all the grocery flyers and makes a list of what is cheapest where. He will buy 10 of something if it gets him extra airmiles.
Sigh.

Well you are just the cat's meow, Judy!! You are right about the upside down heart. Yes, I do use ecoupons. But even when I bring them to the store, I often forget about tham at the checkout! We've had to return to customer service with the reciept. For saving money at the grocery store, I go shopping when I am full! It really works.

No tricks for saving money while grocery shopping, I am the worst at just throwing anything into my shopping cart. I should learn to not shop while hungry ~ that always saves money!

I do in fact use coupons but only those that really work out to be a savings for something I find useful.
One trick to shopping at the grocery store is to go late at night or early in the a.m. when they often mark down things or put up "This store only specials".
1) I use coupons when grocery shopping, whenever I can.
2) I check for weekly flier to see what is on sale when I have to grocery shop!

YES---I use coupons. It's alot of work keeping up with coupons and store specials, but it has saved us a bunch of money.
My suggestion besides using coupons:
-Buy store brands (many times they are cheaper than name brands with coupons)
-Buy store specials --and stock up
-Go to more than one grocery store...

As to your questions ,
yes I use coupons if they will save money on products I use,
and I always stick to a list while leaving a little wiggle room for special sales on items we will need and use.

My As: I'd probably use coupons but normally I try to stick to a list. I did say I try. ;-)
Wonderful shots, Bandit has fantastic eyes. I don't use coupons when shopping, they are usually for things I don't normally buy. To save money, work out menus for week and write a shopping list.
There certainly is a heart there!
1. There are no coupons where I live (Norway).
2. Eat before you go shopping. If you go shopping hungry you'll buy more.

As for the questions ...
1. Yes I use coupons - when I remember to bring them, otherwise I pick up the store's circular once I'm there and see if there's something I need to get that's on sale.
2. Having a stroke last year made me severely conscious of what I eat. So I check labels, and find that most of the easy junk type foods are scratched off my diet list. So ... going on a strict diet is actually saving me $$$$!!
I have four lovely kitties on the roof, Judy. Prudence just gave birth and she keeps them away from stray cats.

I always save my coupons, carries it everywhere, but I don't use it. I forget about them and what they are for. It's really terrible, I have great intentions, but can never carry out the savings.
2) Aside from buying loads of what is on sale, I try not to buy so much and have it ruined before I can use it. Don't be greedy is another way to save. :-)
Great shots of the whiskers. I don't use coupons. I just look for the specials to try to save on the groceries and try to grow my own veggies not too successfully yet but each year a little better.

I never remember to take the coupons. When I do, I forget to get them out of my purse! How bad is that? I save by buying the store brand and comparing unit prices.

I will use coupons only when they save me money on something I am actually going to use.
I found a program that helps on groceries called Angel Food Ministries. I also am careful to buy food that is as close to natural as possible, such as dried beans. Cooking from scratch saves money and our health.
