Just over a week ago there were still a few leaves clinging to the branches. The wind and rain has taken most of them away (well, it didn't take them very far as I have been raking leaves for the past two weeks).
I always thought the maples had the most glorious fall colors, but this season I've seen so many lovely golden trees and you are right against the blue skies they are amazing. Hugs to you and Miss Cindi Lou, Madi and Mom
Marvelous, beautiful captures, Judy! It is hard to believe that the bare trees are really here -- I wasn't ready for winter this year!!! Guess I'd better get ready! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Enjoy!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

So hard to believe.... bare branches already. Everything looks so muted and bare now.
why is it that the sky never looks as pretty when i look up as it does when you shoot up?
Gorgeous blue sky, Judy, and those gold leaves are spectacular!
nothing prettier than leaves against the sky in my book. gold looks good and so would any other color on that bright blue sky

That's one of the good things about being in the country. Don't really have to rake unless you want to!
Great pictures. Have a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful, judy... Most all of our leaves are down also now. In fact, today is going to be a 'work in the yard' day for us.
Hugs,
Betsy

Such beautiful colors. Love the Autumn foliage against the blue sky. Happy weekend!
Fiery sky
That leaf against the clear blue sky is divine!
Very nice.
Such nice yellow leaves dotting the blue sky!
Yes, they don't last nearly long enough on the branches(on the lawn is quite another tale!).
incredible colors, beautiful photos.
Great pictures. The first one looks like a money tree, with gold coins!

I love the fall. Great photos.
I know what you mean about the rain. Just when leaves around her finally began to turn, the storms took most of them away. Great shot!
Great Skywatch photo. There aren't any leaves left here.
Blue and yellow are my favorite color combination! I see a face on the second shot. Heavenly!
Fall is my favorite season, but raking the leaves, hmmm, not my favorite.
Their beauty is reaching into the heavenly skies to be bless with renewed life next season.
Lovely shots, Judy
be well, be Happy
Our trees are becoming bare too and I had not tired of taking pics yet. lol
