Just over a week ago there were still a few leaves clinging to the branches. The wind and rain has taken most of them away (well, it didn't take them very far as I have been raking leaves for the past two weeks).Visit SkyWatch Friday for more photos.

So hard to believe.... bare branches already. Everything looks so muted and bare now.
why is it that the sky never looks as pretty when i look up as it does when you shoot up?

nothing prettier than leaves against the sky in my book. gold looks good and so would any other color on that bright blue sky
I always thought the maples had the most glorious fall colors, but this season I've seen so many lovely golden trees and you are right against the blue skies they are amazing.

Beautiful, judy... Most all of our leaves are down also now. In fact, today is going to be a 'work in the yard' day for us.

Fall is my favorite season, but raking the leaves, hmmm, not my favorite.
