Interesting photos, especially the leaf on the rake. :D The one thing that is really nice about living in Central Texas is that most of our trees are evergreens. The trees, at least around my place, that do shed are not much a problem; the leaves blow away. So while we miss the beauty of fall, there is not much work.
spectacular! on the header, like an expensive millions of dollar painting. Magnifico on the leaves caught in the railiing. Love it with the contrast of the lines of black and the bright color of the leaf.
Rake? I thought is was a leaf caught against a grill. :-D This coming from someone who lives in a two-season country with no autumn/fall and hence, no rake. -- Bom @ www.plantchaser.com
Oh, man, Judy! Another beautiful series of shots! I never would have thought of a theme like this. The first photo looks like the leaves are in jail and trying to get out! And I like the lines in it, too! The second one is just plain georgous, mostly due to the light!
Simply marvelous...and No, I had never thought of that. Very interesting indeed. The colors in the second photo are fantastic. Love all the Autumn colors, only wish the season would last a little longer.
I wondered but would never have guessed that it was your rake! I like the pretty colors you caught. I coulda and shoulda raked a bunch of leaves over the weekend, but I chose to be a slug. :)

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

I've raked a couple of million.

I like the image of the leaf in the rake. Thousands of leaves on the ground here!
Your photos are so gorgeous. Fall is colour. Brilliant clour and you captured it well.
I will never tire of the colors orange, red & yellow together. I like the pattern the chain link fence gives to the bottom photo.
Beautiful leaves! Love your reflection header. :0)
Hi Judy, Sometimes I use the word Fall and sometimes I use Autumn.....?????? Don't know why!!!!! ha
I have blown and raked a gazillion leaves so far --with more to come!!!!!!! Fun Fun!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I was wondering what the leaves were stuck on! I was thinking a metal fence or something! Cool!
And how did you take that header shot? Awesome!
No leaves to rake here ~ we just have snow. :(
Beautiful photos!

they're all over the place now, trees are starting to look pretty empty
Beautiful photos of leaves, inded. Your header is so beautiful, interesting and attractive.
Both are captivating but I like the first one for its
simple composition which seems to connote both Fall and fall!
Beautiful shots. I love the warm autumn colors in the second one.
Love the photos, and I don't rake. I mow the leaves and let them make mulch. :-)
