Step Carefully

I'm not sure what kind of a beetle this little fellow might be but he is tiny. The largest of those little thorns is less than an eighth of an inch.

Visit Macro Monday to see more of our tiny world.

What an interesting little creature. I love the detail on his back and how you can see the little tiny hairs(?) on his back (must be some kind of feelers or something)...and the contrast between him and the spikes really add to the photo. Nice shot.

I'm guessing it's probably a nymph in the Hemiptera group (true bugs)and it's an excellent macro! Great camera work. The thorns make it even better. I'm wondering what this little guy is thinking...oops..and ouch!

An interesting looking little bug. I'm just glad I'm not him having to navigate those thorns.
