The Great Pumpkin

Linus: [to Sally as she walks away with everyone else] Hey, aren't you going to stay to greet the Great Pumpkin? Huh?

It wont be long now. If the Great Pumpkin comes, I'll still put in a good word for you!
[realizes what he just said]

Good grief! I said "if"! I meant, "when" he comes! [calmly] I'm doomed. One little slip like that could cause the Great Pumpkin to pass you by.

"Oh, Great Pumpkin, where are you?"

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

It Tuesday and time for Tuesday Takes.

Wonderful in so many ways. I love Peanuts and the Great Pumpkin Patch is always a favorite. I love to eat pumpkin pie and roasted seeds, salted of course. Plus I love the past time of carving wonderful things into them. Fantastic display of a favorite thing.
Thank you for linking up!

Fabulous, Judy... I love seeing your pictures of the pumpkins. The header is fabulous!!!!! I am one who still likes the traditional orange pumpkins... I'm still not crazy about the white ones.

I've never seen so many pumpkins - well, except at the supermarket I suppose. But not spread out like that. I once grew one on my balcony that weighed 2 kilos, though!
