Big Skies

The top three photos were taken on our Idaho trip last spring. The last photo is looking straight up from our backyard.

For more skies from around the world visit SkyWatch Friday.

The theme for this week's Photo Time is "Looking up where you stand".

Big skies indeed! A painter's paradise, I should think with all that wonderful light.

I enjoyed your sky photos. I love the one that showed the road and farm land. The fluffy clouds in the last one are my favorite kind.

Love these pictures, as usual. I especially like the fluffy whites just overhead. Blue and white together are my favorite combo.

Lovely colour contrast, blue/white. Today the sky here is a dark grey. It's raining.

I couldn't figure out what your title meant, till I saw the pictures. They are, indeed, big skies!! But my very favorite is the long windy road leading to that tiny house in the distance! And I'm thinking that house is really not so tiny. So alone, wonder if there are neighbors behind them anywhere?

You can never look at too many skies - every one is beautiful and different.

Amazing views! We were in Idaho last year (my first time) and I was amazed at how far one can see - unobstructed views. Totally impressive after one has lived in the Midwest and is surrounded by trees, buildings, and civilization.

Beautiful blue sky, too. That's how our sky looks today.

Wishing you a nice Labor Day weekend!
