with all the water we are having, i have spent many long moments trying really hard to get a rain drop like the ones you take. i just can not do it, with any of my 3 cameras. these are lovely and they inspire me to keep trying. my post today goes with watery wed but i did not intend it that way
J your pictures inspire me!!! Oh what beauty!!! Who knew what one could see in a raindrop?
Yes Raleigh has broken way too many heat/humidity/temperature records this year. Monday night it was 75 degrees and the humidity was 85%. Horrible. It has been too hot for me to take my much loved after work walks outside too. We have several pieces of indoor exercise equipment but it isn't the same as being outside. Hugs Madi and Mom
PS I must confess the plant in today's collage is not at my house. The picture was taken earlier in the spring at a local gardener's paradise. It has been so hot here this summer we only bought a geranium for the front because they are hardy...even with water every other day it died... Madi and Mom
That has to be one of the most beautiful macro photos I have ever seen of a flower with water droplet. So incredible!!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
