We are so sorry about your internet problems....what a bother that is.....BUT we are tickled pink that you were able to post this amazing picture of the hover Fly (which we have never heard of) coming in for a landing. A Hover Fly? You find the dangdest little flying creatures! I never heard of one, he sure looks like he could sting. Love the coming in for a landing one! I'm guessing you used Macro on all of these, so I don't know how you managed that one. Now I want to know about this Hover Fly. You just knew I would, didn't you?

Your little Hover Fly looks a bit like the fly I was asking about on my coneflower July 25 - but yours is
not yellow either! Perhaps they vary in looks from region to region... Do hope you are over your internet problems by now?
