Hi Judy and Miss Cindi Lou, What a beautifu picture of our grand Flag...thank you,
It appears we might escape the worst of the fireworks...well that is as long as our next door neighbors don't come home tonight. They packed up their car mid day Friday. We'll keep our fingers crossed that they stay where ever they are until tomorrow. LOL
...and happy 4th to you too! Thank you so much for voting for my photo at the balloon festival. I am ahead in votes so far! I appreciate your time to help me with this.
O.K. this picture puts my finger on the difference between you and me and why you are such a better photographer. Snapping my flag for today, I waited till the wind was just right so it would be as straight out as possible. BORING!! Yours is waving, in motion, with beautiful furls, I wish I had an eye for things like that. I think I'm too proper and straightlaced, I so admire people who think outside the box!! Happy Fourth, Judy!! Maybe next year, I'll get the flag right.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

A perfect sky for the background of our flag. It certainly has seen many different types!
