Music in the Air

It has been a dark gray week with overcast days and lots of rain. More is predicted for tonight and tomorrow.

But when the sun returns and brings back the blue we are all very happy.

The clouds dance and the flowers rejoice.

And the robin sings his song to all who take the time to listen. Do you hear the music?

It seems that we have all had to wait for spring this year. Love your photos as always. Have a lovely weekend!

Glad the skies are blue and the birds are singing for you! We have had spring for awhile and are glad for the rain that finally arrived the other day.

Without the dull days the bright ones wouldn't feel so wonderful! Lovely shots and I really like your new header.

Thanks for the reminder to slow down and listen a bit better. There are so many beautiful sounds if we care to take the time! Good stuff!

Morning J and Miss Cindi Lou,
What beautiful blue skies. Being from GA you will understand when I say currently we are having only hot hazy humid skies so thick my clothes feel damp....

We do hear lots of very happy birds though. Every day on the way to my car for lunch there is the happiest Mockingbird sitting in a tree by the deck door.
Happy Weekend,
Madi and Mom

PS Toto is caring a pacifier dog toy in his mouth...that was one of his favorite toys...probably because it made the most aggravating high pitched squeak....

I am at my best when blue skies are shining. rain makes me depressed but that is only when it last for days and days and that does not happen here. in GA it used to drizzle and stay gray for days and days and I was begging for blue skies.

We are anticipating a sunny tomorrow and hope it is coming from the west so all of us in the pnw can enjoy some blue sky... Think we are overdue? Stay dry and enjoy the weekend.

I always hear the music, and it's the music of life!! The clouds are most interesting in black and white, they look like a Renaissance painting! The birds start to sing the second the storms are over.

Hi Judy, Yes---there is music in nature... It's all around us, but much of the time, we don't listen or hear it... Great post and pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy

It's nice to see a robin again. That one looks pretty against the sky. We had them in Tucson last winter, the first time in many years.

Great shots.

You had asked on my blog about accessability to Corriganville Movie Ranch.

There is actually no movie set there anymore. It is now a county park where people go and hike the trails, but I've heard that they have signs marking out "historical" sights along the trails. One of these days I am going to go hike over there, but it's about 25 miles from my house, so don't know when that will be.
