Color in the Sky

Even with all the flowers we have this time of the year there is nothing that stands out quite like the fiery display of Japanese Maple leaves. Those red leaves against a bright blue sky is one of my favorite sights in the summer.

Oh what a beautiful picture...I love Japanese Maples. Great shot. We have a Japanese Maple in our front yard. It was just fire red when the Spring sun hit it this spring. About this time of year it starts to be more of a burgundy ...I guess it has on sunscreen to keep the hot rays from burning it.

Happy Weekend...Miss Cindi Lou wish your Dad a Happy Father's Day,
Madi and Mom

It was hard to leave off staring at the beautiful duck to get to the maple leaves and blue sky, but as usual they are outstanding.

Oh my, the red leaves look stunning against the blue sky. I don't think we have Japanese Maples here in the desert, I'm sure I would have noticed them. :)

Morning J and Miss Cindi Lou,
You are so right the boys in the picture were nervous!!! This was the beginning of the age when we were all learning social skills. All the mothers made the dress up and I'm sure they weren't all that comfortable in their ties either.
Happy Sunday.
