Tiny Petals - Macro Monday

A little wildflower I found beside a stream in Western Oregon just before we crossed into Idaho.

Several of my blogging friends have been posting mystery flowers on their blogs so I thought I would show you one too. Do you know the identity of this little pink flower? Take your best guess! I will post the answer tomorrow night.

To see more of our world up close visit Macro Monday.

It looks like a wild flower to me. Almost the same like the wild orchid I saw in the mountain.

Wild maybe, but so tame in it's rightful beauty.

Mine's "Amaryllis by Morning". Do stop by to view if you get a chance.

Just keep the flower as mysterious as before. Leave it alone.

Very pretty and delicate. Could it be Filaree aka Stork's bill?

This is fun! It is hard to identify it without seeing the leaves, but my guess is some kind of violet. I think I'm probably wrong, but it's the closest I can get. Can't wait to find out!!

I love the pink little petals and I SHOULD know the name of it, but my memory is bad so I DON'T. And if I weren't so lazy I'd get up and look it up in my wildflower book. But that would take energy and I'm comfortable here. So, I'll just stay tuned till tomorrow! LOL!

Beautiful little flower. Your header looks like it might have come from Sedona, Arizona. I saw so many so similar there recently. I love them!
