This old bridge is located on the Clearwater river near Lewiston, Idaho. I liked all the different lines in the structure. I didn't notice the pigeon flying near the top of the bridge until after I had uploaded the photo to the computer.

It's a whole different world when viewed in monochrome. For more photos visit Ailene at Monochrome Weekend.

I love your header! This bridge is a good subject for monochrome. In fact, here's what I'm thinking. Those clouds are so fluffy and light and pretty. The bridge is the exact opposite, heavy metal. Black and white, grounded and dark. Interesting opposites....
Yes, lots of great lines to emphasize. I had to look for awhile to find that pigeon, but I finally did!
Beautiful picture to use as a monochrome, Judy.... Very nice!!!!
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Large and lovely. Happy weekend.
A nice monochrome picture...the combination of cloud motive and this human-made construction, made this picture is so interesting :-)
heavenly beautiful!
excellent!
These are stunning shot, Judy.
I think you miss your calling... you should be (and in my opinion are) a pro photographer.
You have that special eye ;)
Enjoy your weekend, my friend...
These are stunning in monochrome! Fantastic shot, and with the sky background too.
Bridges lend themselves very well to monochrome. These were beauties indeed.

So many wonderful lines and shapes. I like the pigeon.
Hi Judy and Miss Cindi Lou,
That is some BRIDGE and what a great angle. I love it in black and white!!!
We hope your weekend is going well...Mom and Dad started of the day with a flat tire...and to top that off it was raining so Mom held the golf umbrella over Dad while he changed it...as for me I watched them from the comfort of the bed in the guest room...they looked pretty funny
Hugs Madi
Just love all thhe lines in the bridge AND how it blends down to the fence!!
Don't you just love when you get a special added feature in a shot!!
That is an excellent angle for the pictures of the bridge. It makes me think of experimenting with angles like that.
