The first weekend in May is our annual Balloon Stampede. Each morning, weather permitting, hot air balloons fill the skies over our town. The flight path of the balloons comes directly over our house which is near the landing zone. Don't worry, no one fell out of the balloon, it's all in the camera angle.

Neat, but am soooo glad they don't come over my house. We'd have to fix fences from the horses running thru them!

Ohhhh! So RED! I've jumped out of a balloon five times during my career as a skydiver! It's scary but fun. Lovely picture, it makes me look forward to what you'll capture in May.
I have what I considered great pictures of hot air balloons, till i saw this! you've outdone me again! But you give me new ideas of ways to take pictures!!! I had just opened my computer to e-mail you. I wondered if you were O.K. because you haven't posted in awhile. Glad to see you're back!
I have always wanted to take photos of hot air balloons. I think it would be a fabulous photo opportunity.

When we went to the Albuquerque Annual Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, it was one of best things we've EVER done - seeing 600-700 balloons in the air AT ONCE! Gorgeous!

I love hot air balloons and when we lived in St. Louis, we went to the annual balloon race that began in Forest Park (St. Louis's version of Central Park).

beautiful picture, but you don't have to worry about ME falling out of it, because I would NOT be in it. they are fun to look UP at, but not down from.
I think a balloons would scare me, I don't do well with heights. Great photo though.
I would love it if all of those balloons flew over my house. I've only ever seen balloons like that in the distance, and only one or two.
