Petals of Sunshine

One, I have only one yellow tulip in my garden. There are many of each of the other colors but the little yellow one stands alone and of course it is my favorite.

Flowers are beautiful any way they are viewed but the closer you get the more details you see. Visit Macro Flowers Saturday and join in the fun.

Speaking of fun the theme for this week's Photo Time is Vertical. I just saw the theme but fortunately my yellow tulip stands vertically so I think I am safe for this week. Photo Time is a fun and easy meme, won't you join us?

The yellow of this tulip is so warm and inviting I just want to crawl inside it and take a nice long nap!! Sometimes, I think the life of a bumblebee might be for me...just buzzing from flower to flower, napping in the sun and flowin' with the breeze!! Thanks for sharing! Cat

These tulip photos are so beautiful Judy, excellentmacros.
I like yellow tulips too but I have not one picture of them. I think they are more rare than other colors.
Have a nice weekend!

Lucky you...you can grow tulips in your garden, we can't here. Tulips is one of the most expensive flowers in the country one flower costs too much and you're tulips is an expensive one. Take care of them.

Morning friends...
we so enjoyed reading about your names yesterday....Cindi Madi said to tell you that she is glad you decided not to stick to Cinister....you are too sweet for that name. Mom loves the yellow tulip in fact it would have fit right in here this past week...all of Raleigh was yellow with pollen!!! Happy Saturday,
Madi and Mom

Love tulips....every year I tell myself I'm going to get some planted.
However, I forget about it until it is too late. Don't know about you, but we have to buy in October, if I remember correctly, and refrigerate for 6+ weeks.

What a gorgeous yellow it is. I have some yellow daffodils, but my tulips are all pink. In fact some of them are unwrapping their loveliness now.
Don't you just love spring?

Why would you need any more yellows than this one when It's so perfect? I imagine it stands out from the rest like it's own ray of sunshine.

I would be happy to have any color tulip bloom in my garden but the critters seems to eat them before they ever get to bloom so I've given up. The critters don't seem to bother the daffodils so I must be happy them those or forget spring flowers.

I love spring and tulips! My tulips and lilies, however, have not grown any flowers yet. There is still hope, but I'm not holding my breath. :)
