Judy and Miss Cindi Lou, Yay!!! We love the picture of the Star Magnolia...at least that is what we call them in NC. I've heard them called tulip trees and Japanese Magnolia... Beautiful blue skies too. The little furry guy was in a good mood too. Madi and Mom
Gaaaaahhh... Is that magnolia for real? From this year? Ohhhhhhh!! Want, want, want spriiiing - NOW!
I like your new backdropcolour, maybe I should alter mine too... My son (of 18) thinks my blog is the most boring (colourwise) on the planet earth... I don't know, maybe he is right.... :-)
On this side of the Cascades, our magnolia trees are almost all bloomed out, so I loved seeing your new header. And our trees are all in bloom like yours, too. And our squirrels are all running around like crazy, too... spring is definitely here!
that cute little guy looks like he might be about to munch on those little blue flowers. at the nursing home the squirrels quickly munch all the blooms off the flowers they plant in the courtyard planters. they love to eat blooms and the green leaves. I love the other photos of the flowering trees. spring is not springing fast enough for ME
I'm gonna start calling you, "The Squirrel Whisperer". I have never seen someone get so many shots with squirrels and them actually posing too! Great job!
Yes---it looks like Spring is definitely in your trees. Love that header!!!!
I know that your are a Squirrel Queen---so since you have that title would you please tell our squirrels to quit eat the Rhododendron Buds.....DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!! (Do you want my squirrels???)
A pretty picture and a funny picture! A photographer and a watcher! I like the picture of your book on your side column. If we want to find it, it's good to see what it looks like. It does look interesting.
Great photos Judy-all of them including the new header photo. Lovely spring blooms and a great photo of that squirrel! They are really drawn to you aren't they?
This is exactly the great kinds of things I was looking at today. The way the sun makes the tops of the trees glow. And the squirrels looking right back at the photographer.
Yay for Spring! We had a couple warm days in a row and so it began. It was very chilly yesterday with a tiny dusting of snow overnight. This has made the daffodils bow their heads. Today it will get in the upper 50s.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
