When Will it Bee Spring?

Reaching into my archives again for something sunny. This is one of my first bee photos from this past Spring. She is checking out the new blooms on my raspberry bushes and I fell in love with her lacy wings.

To see more of the world up close visit Macro Monday.

Yes, another great bee photo! That bee just pops right out of the picture, and the wings are awesome. I just don't understand how you can get the lens so close to them without them flying away!!

Indeed when will it be spring!!! If you find spring let us know!! Beautiful pictures.
Once again we had snow here in Raleigh...not much this time (2"). This is my kind of snow it snows and melts all in the same day.
Happy Monday,
Madi and Mom

busy little buzzy bee is so cute and does herald the coming of spring. now if he will just do his job and get rid of all this cold and snow and bad weather. I say come on spring. when we see the bees we know summer is on the way. no bees in my yard right now for sure. I wonder where they go during the winter.

Wouldn't it be great if it was warm enough for the bees to be out!

Lovely photo.

Very, very soon. The pear trees have been blooming here in Phoenix for the past two weeks and our desert trees are beginning to show buds. I have lots of bees on pear blossoms, cape honeysuckle, and lantana.

You do bees so well Judy. I'm helping do a website and the lady paints bees on things with her flowers, then I see a bee on here...can spring be far off?

Great picture. I love raspberries. I need to buy more plants. I think after moving my 3 or 4 times, I've finally killed them.
