Hello there! I like the glossy parts and the detail, like the 'studs" on the seat. Gena @ Thinking Aloud a photoblog South Africa Post link : http://tobethinkingaloud.blogspot.com/2010/01/beach-walkway.html
lovely composition as always, judy.....i love the shine. now, you just gave me an idea...i just remembered there's a motorbike show once a month just around the corner. i think i'll give it a go..
Hi Miss Cindi Lou and Judy, We love the blue skies and birch trees...somehow we missed that one on its post day. Todays shiny bikes is quite dramatic... Great pictures. We hope you all have a good weekend. Madi and Mom
i can just feel the wind in my face just by looking at this pic.. sadly it has been a long time since i used a bike. safer to travel around in a car nowadays
I like the shiny parts too. Great shot. At first I thought it was auto parts with a quick glance and then I realized it was motorcycles. I like it when I do a double take on a shot.
I very interesting composition of my least favourite subject! But, now I am looking for shapes within shapes, trying not to make associations with the first image that comes to mind! Will that work in a meme like this, I wonder.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

I like the shine and the composition. They seem to be moving even though they are standing still. Powerful machines.
Hi Judy, Love the new look... The purple is pretty!!!! The header is great also.
Love your monochrome.
Hope you had a nice few days away.
Hugs,
Betsy

Bikers like a clean machine.
Wow!
Bikes always clean glossy machines .... LOL
Puurfect shot !!
Great for long straight roads.
Wow, great shot, I like this shiny chrome:-)
Beautiful capture of this shinny jewelry. I love bikes, I already feel the adrenaline just looking at your pictures.
The monochrome works perfectly for this picture. Whenever I see your monochrome shots, I wish I had the good eye you have for this kind of thing.
Shot at a show? Yet you managed to confer to it a feeling of speed .
Let imagine if I am on the bike.......
Very cool pictures!
Creative composition and the bikes look great in monochrome!
Very shiny, and the angle was just perfect. They look great in monochrome, Judy!

Some nice chrome here! Lovely header and awesome cat!!
Cool and shiny! Looks good in b/w..
Bikes are so photogenic, and always excellent in monochrome.
I like the detail and the shine, there is a sense of motion or the need to move about them. ~ Calico Contemplations
A wonderful composition and I also like the way you caught the shininess.

Another wonderful shot Judy...I also love the chrome shine!
excellent shot Judy...love the shine. Perfect for monochrome.
You sure know how to frame a shot. Love the sun glinting on the bikes.
I like B&W, mono photos very much. Different set of problems and fun. Nice work!
I love it Judy. The way that chrome shines catching the sun. Beautiful composition as well, just that hint of their power. ~Jeanne

I like the shine too!
I could see reflection too! Great composition, Judy. I used to drive a moped in my younger years.
Monochrome is perfect for the shine of chrome and reflected light - and bikes!
On someone else's computer so I've managed to arrive!
Exactly, it's the shine which strikes one before your text comes up. Maybe that's why it is an uplifting photo. (Can't explain it otherwise.)

I like the texture you applied. Very neat.
Wonderful monochrome entries. The details are superb.
Vroom, vroom! Makes me want to hop on one and ride into the sunset! Great angle for this shot!
