Country Lane at Twilight

Alice came to a fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.

"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.

"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter.

Looks so serene. It is one of those photos that if one is stressed he should stop a minute, look at the photo, draw a breath or two, and allow the peacefulness in.

Great shot. Kind of desolate and lonely looking. And of course here's my question:where does it lead? Yes, the light show is an annual thing. As soon as they take it down in January, they start putting the new ones up. It takes a year to do it and it's completly different every year. It's acres and acres and I have taken hundreds of photos, which I'll post during the year.

Nice combination of quote and photo. That section of the story is one of my favorites. I also enjoyed reading some of your previous blogs. It is always a treat to visit.

Very dramatic! Looks similar to our rural area here.

I guess it is important to know WHICH road we want to take---so we don't end up down a road that leads to nowhere

This looks a lot like the end of my driveway. Sorry I've been MIA. Took a break and got a lot done!

I've enjoyed catching up here. The autumn colors were lovely to see after coming in from the COLD!

Congrats on the new awards, too!
