Looks so serene. It is one of those photos that if one is stressed he should stop a minute, look at the photo, draw a breath or two, and allow the peacefulness in.
SQ, what a perfect way for me to start my day at work. With a beautiful picture AND a wonderful quote from one of my favorite books. ;-) BIG SMILE! Thank YOU!!!!!
AND Thanks so much for your Birthday Wishes for JOSIE and all of your recommendations. I signed up first thing this morning. Last night, Friends Connect was down. ;-( But it was back up this morning, so I was "working" while at work. LOL
You are the BEST! Kitty pictures coming soon. I promise Much Love!
I love the Alice in Wonderland quote, I can't wait to see the new version coming out made by Tim Burton with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Beautifully serene photo.
Great shot. Kind of desolate and lonely looking. And of course here's my question:where does it lead? Yes, the light show is an annual thing. As soon as they take it down in January, they start putting the new ones up. It takes a year to do it and it's completly different every year. It's acres and acres and I have taken hundreds of photos, which I'll post during the year.
Nice combination of quote and photo. That section of the story is one of my favorites. I also enjoyed reading some of your previous blogs. It is always a treat to visit.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

I love this picture!
Lovely scene and I like the quote too.
I agree nice combination, you do so well choosing subjects of both kinds, photographic and written.
Very dramatic! Looks similar to our rural area here.
I guess it is important to know WHICH road we want to take---so we don't end up down a road that leads to nowhere
A moody blues shot - I love it!
I can hardly wait for the new Alice in Wonderland movie with Johnny Depp. :)
Amazing picture! I like the mystery look of this photo.
You match photos and quotes so well. I purchased a book on quotes and am trying to take a page from you. I love it.
This photo is gorgeous! I love it!
This looks a lot like the end of my driveway. Sorry I've been MIA. Took a break and got a lot done!
I've enjoyed catching up here. The autumn colors were lovely to see after coming in from the COLD!
Congrats on the new awards, too!
Bare trees against a blue sky....What more could a person ask for?
