I love birch trees very much. There is some special in them with or without leaves and I aslo love their white bark very much. These two birch trees against the blue sky make really beautiful photo.
Our Birch tree died, it's @ the edge of the yard and small, we let it stand, need to replace it but the bare branches are still great. But it NEVER looked like this, gorgeous.
Well, the first thing that hits you in this picture are the colors! And what is that thingy there that looks like a man made creek? Is there any water in it? Even after clicking I couldn't tell, but it's very interesting.
gorgeous! I love it! the color of the sky! the stunning white trunks in the foreground. the green of grass....There is so much energy in this photo--the upward thrust of trees into the gorgeous blueness, the diagonal meandering of the waterway, and then there's the branch thrusting back towards the earth. This is a very joyful photo!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

They have such an artistic trunk and look graceful without their leaves.
Fantastic picture, Judy! The sky behind the tree is so blue and beautiful..
The design on the trunk looks so perfect! And yes, it's been so warm lately. Did you take this recently?
Fantastic. You are here without your presence.
The Birch tree tells me the truth.
Oh the sky and the tree are fantastically in harmony. Beautiful!

Purdy!
What is the little ribbon on the right? A drainage ditch? Small river?
Birch trees are my favorite and these are so beautiful against the blue sky.

I love birtch trees.
Useless fact: They used to be a symbol of bad Russian romantic films in till about late 1980s.
I love white birch trees. I captured some white trees the other day. The contrast is wonderful.
Very nice photo. Birch trees really add a nice effect to a yard. We don't see too many of them around here though.
I love the line of the creek.
