Winter's Embrace

A leaf trapped inside the frozen pond.

The ice creeps across the surface of the pond.

And a little music to warm you.

Hi Judy,
As per usual your pictures make me feel like I'm right there with you. I wanted to reach down to touch the leaf....so real!!!
thanks for the info on downloading a video to you tube....I had no idea you could do that. I hate to appear stupid...but I'm not sure how to do that. Could you elaborate a tad? Thank you

Judy, Do people out there use lights on their houses that correspond with the music???? Here--there are people who use that Trans-Siberian song with lights on their homes bouncing around. It's neat!!!!

Great winter pictures... Love the background color also.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh My GOSH!!!! I love everything about this. Your first picture is simply stunning, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I didn't read about it till I tried to figure it out, which I was unable to do. How would you ever even find a leaf trapped in ice? But then Trans Siberian!! I've been hearing that one song on the radio, and I've loved them for years. So today we're going to the "big city" for a doctor appointment, and I'm going to the C.D. store to look at their stuff. I listened to most of their other videos that were on the bottom of your little window, as well. I think I'll look for a "Best Of" or something like that.

Hi Judy, love your new header, it's so cute! Have not been here for awhile... well, have not been anywhere for a long while *sigh* Wonderful composition on the first photo. The leaves are still vibrant in color even after being trapped in the ice! Your lake still looks pretty. :)

Hello,

Thank you for responding. I think perhaps it is similar. How curious that we sing or say something as tradition without truly knowing it. And it is lovely to meet you as well.

Cool pictures! We saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert in Chicago. Can I just say that they were awesome? It was a spectacular concert. If you ever have a chance to see them, do it!

Great pics, but I'd like to keep winter a little bit off in the distance if you don't mind!

Ooohhh that leaf perfect! We've been having some cold weather too. Highs in the 20s with single digits in the eve and wind chills we don't want to talk about. Love the TSO clip. Saw them live a couple times and they're awesome! ~Jeanne
