Hi. My first time here. Just dropping by to say that you have a lovely monochrome.

As a nurse, a watch is very essential and it is one of my 'gadgets'. Can't work without a watch on my pocket or a wristwatch.

Time passes, and together with the title the photo tells a whole story.

That watch was made for monochrome, Judy. Great job, as usual. I like being able to see the shadow of the hands. I also hope you are feeling better...

your photo makes me wonder what happened to my dad's pocket watch. I have been feeling nostalgic for the past few days and this brought back good memories.

I would rather say it is now in the morning due to the B&W.

Elgin, is a name I recognize. You've made a wonderful keepsake photo of your grandfather's watch.

The monochrome works well for this pocket watch. It makes me think of a long passage of time. Color would not have allowed that to stretch out so well.

This is just lovely in monochrome and so apropos for the subject matter. I like the light reflection off of the metal in a couple of places. Great closeup.
