- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. As a nurse, a watch is very essential and it is one of my 'gadgets'. Can't work without a watch on my pocket or a wristwatch.
Beautiful picture. I love those oldfashioned pocketwatches.
It seems to be floating in water but I'm sure it isn't!

The monochrome works well for this pocket watch. It makes me think of a long passage of time. Color would not have allowed that to stretch out so well.
