Judy what STUNNING pictures....the water is amazing. I aspire to take pictures just a 1/10 this good. Photography and writing are things I enjoy and one of my reasons for blogging.
Cindi Lou Madi's Mom here, I keep meaning to tell you that Lou is my middle name. My Mom's first name is Lou (not Louise). Her middle name was her mom's maiden name which was Daniel she said every year in school the teachers expected her to be a boy. Have a lovely weekend. Madi and Mom
You are so fortunate to have all these ducks posing for you! I belong to a birding listserv and know that there are swans and ducks all around here, but I still don't know exactly where to look.
The picture with the tree reflection. I just love the way the reflection is perfect until the duck swims through, making it wavy the rest of the way down! This could even be a metaphor for how living beings change the course of nature. Really!
That upside down tree is just a delightful reflection. I like how the movements in the water cause disruption in the image turning it into an impression.
Magnificent set of pictures! I loved the colours and reflections and those friends are really gorgeous! Happy weekend reflections purrs and love Luna - WE LOVE LUNA
those beautiful little guys swam right through the reflection and you were lucky enough to be there. i truly love the last photo, closeup and personal. great shot

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

I'm drawn to your pictures the way I'm drawn to water...
We have water in the form of snow here today. I like your version better.
Seem to be a rasher of ducks reflecting this week. I love the ones of yours ~ especially the last one.

A glorious collection of photos! I think my favourite is the last one with the lovely sense of depth in the ripples!

I like how the ducks broke up the image of the tree in the first photo. Interesting shot.
That iridescent green on those heads is really something! Love these water shots!
That upside down tree is just a delightful reflection. I like how the movements in the water cause disruption in the image turning it into an impression.

Through the reflection, I could tell how great and tall the tree is!
The duck seems to enjoy that someone is taking photos of them!

These are great reflection shots. I like the way the duck is swimming "through" the tree. And the last shot is great! Kathy
Beautiful reflections of surprisingly florescent mallards! I wonder what they've been eating?!
