He did share a stare at you while you were snapping his cut little face.
I think I could hear your teeth chattering as you shivered in the 10 degree temps, Judy
You need to join the snow birds and fly south, its going to be 80 here today.

He sure has a bushy tail. I wonder if any squirrels have a nut alergy?

Morning Cindi Lou,
That is one bushy tailed visitor you have. I believe his cheeks might explode from all the food. Yesterday I believe I saw his cousin on my deck. He was chewing on a pine cone....Mom told me the cones are prickly. I don't think I would chew on them,

That's a great shot! I just watched a couple of squirrels hopping from tree to tree outside of my window...

Perfect photos. Mr. Squirrel has the bushiest tail.

BTW, the header photo is wonderful. Alaska? Wherever it is taken, it looks very, very lonely and cold.

what darling photos of that squirrel. hope he is ready for winter!

Yep, he looks plenty ready for winter. Look at that backside! Not hurting for food, and with YOU around to feed him, I'm sure he'll be just fine. Squirrels naturally gravitate to their queen.

I love the squirrel! They are always fun subjects to chase around and try to photograph. I love the ones that aren't afraid of people, and so they will pause just right for you in order to take pictures.

I also looked at other pictures of yours. I love the black-and-white ones, as well as the thistle. (I don't think I have ever said I have loved a thistle before...) ;)

Happy WW!

Sorry to read above in the comments you have been ill. Hope you are back tip-top asap! ~nutmeg.

Have you been ill? I'm sorry to hear that; how are you now? I manage our church's 24/7 prayer request line from my home. I record people's needs, and then there's a phone number people call to hear at any time. This gets important information out to many people instantly so a large prayer effort can be started. I have seen many miracles happen through this. But my point in telling you all of this is that if you ever have any problems and need prayer, please let me know, I will be glad to help. I can either use your name or not. Some people even have unspoken requests, Where they want prayer for a private problem they don't want made public. Of course I'm loving the squirrel post! You also really hit the mark with the post's title! That makes the pictures doubly enjoyable. I have just taken more squirrel pictures, but have already done two squirrel posts, so I'm trying to think how to use them! Maybe I don't need an excuse!

Friskie little critters. we see them playing around her all the time. I tried to imagine how many more there might be if not for the housing development boggles the mind as they are in all the yards as it is.

That's funny. That little fox squirrel really does look like he's trying to hide his food from other greedy eyes.

What a nice coat and tail he has. There are no tree squirrels where I live. So glad you share your squirrels on your blogs!

I like to look at its eye, just like looking at the eyes of other animals. It is the feeling that we are close to each other.
