Hi Cindi Lou... I was disappointed that I could not visit everyone but....Mom rules. Your pictures on both your blogs are very pretty. There is a huge Sycamore near us Mom would like to get a picture of it now that the leaves are off. Gorgeous white trunk. Madi and MOm
Great photos and I had to smile as for the last 2 mornings, a peacock has been meandering the street again. Thankfully not near where I live! Have a great day! ~m.
Oooh. Nice job Judy. Really nice. I love the peacock and the colors. I think you should put a peacock tail fully fanned out on your list of objectives. That would be awesome.
Oh my! This is a real treat, as I've never seen a peacock up close before! Where was this? Did you get very close? Was he tame? I'm doing a peacock post this month, but there are no real peacocks in it!!!
I love peacocks, but can't look at one without fondly remembering how my oldest daughter would call all animals goggies when we first started visiting the zoo weekly. The Bronx Zoo was free on Thursdays and a wonderful excursion for the kids and I.
I always liked peacocks. The last time I went to our zoo around here, there were peacocks that were able to run loose. They would beg everybody for food and harass the kids. Fun. :)
Hi Cindi Lou and Judy... Happy Thursday. Mom meant to post on our blog that the Christmas pictures were taken at Logan's Trading Post, a local Garden and Gift shop. They have the most beautiful decorations every year. Thanks for visiting us. We love your header picture. Madi and Mom
Hi Judy, Their colors are so beautiful and vivid. Your photos are amazing, they are so sharp and clear. I have a few shots of peacocks but none that compare to yours. If you don't mind me asking, what camera do you use.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

Wow! You've really captured the texture here. I love peacocks. Wish I had some here, but they'd probably make a mess like the chickens do!

What gorgeous and strange birds, aren't they? I love their loud, piercing calls.
