Taken from a boat on the Snake River in SE Washington state. The bridge belongs to the railroad and on the shore is a grain terminal. If you look to the right of the terminal you will also see a power transmission tower in the distance.

The steel structure lends itself to black and white nicely.
Yes it was you where I first heard of Snake River, I was thinking about Snake Island haha! I like the angle of the suspension bridge Judy and maybe if I was there, it will give me a clear view of the Snake River.
I saw yours too in Aileni's. Congratulations!

What a fantasic bridge! I really love your header!
That is a great picture. Hugh bridge looks so good in monochrome
Beautiful contrasts; the bridge and the whole scene look terrific in monochrome!
Everything is always so crisp looking in monochrome. I love it!
That's beautiful bridge in monochrome, but what I love most is the angle in this image..Have a great weekend, Judy!
It's still snowing! Great shot, Judy, as usual.
I like to have a colourful weekend, while looking at your monochrome picture.
Railroad bridges make great black and whites. This is a wonderful shot.
I like the silhouette of the bridge against the sky. Great angle for this shot.
Lots of wonderful things seen on your road to HERE. love the shot
wow.this is a stunning monochrome shot...
mine is here
I really like the contrast between the sharp lines of the bridge and the soft lines of the river bank. Nice shot!
Perfect black and white! And, I love your composition and perspective! Splendid shot!
Nice one. RR bridges and rivers are great subjects.
Great picture to use as a monochrome one, Judy...

I like how you have composed this shot, SQ. The light grey of the sky in the centre of the image being contained by the bridge above and the land beyond. You have also managed the exposure well to show us a full range of greys. Good monochrome.
Very Ansel Adams like. Lovely range of grey in this one.
Wonderful photo! It looks like an art poster!
LOVE IT! I've got this 'bridge' thing, especially railroad trestles. I have my dad's old bridge photos hanging on the wall.
Very nifty and unique. The same Snake River that runs down through Idaho?
i like ths shot. especially the railway bridge
Great shot. I love the composition.
I love bridges. I remember when I was a kid my cousin tried to get me to walk across a railroad bridge with him. I don't think there would have been any trains, but I'm still glad I didn't go.
gorgeous!
The monochrome really brings out the details.
