Deer are just naturally skittish. We have a mother and her two fawns around here, and now the fawns have gotten almost as bit as mom. Sometimes they run and sometimes they are very bold. Nice pictures, Judy.
The first two pictures are wonderful - the blending of sky and grass and sharpness of the ears! An awesome concept - not knowing, at first, what the animal could be with that white 'bobtail'!
Oh how I love seeing the deer, Judy... Recently, three of them have wandered behind our home --along the golf course (either early in the morning or at dusk). SO pretty. You captured some great pictures. Hugs, Betsy
I would never be able to take pictures like this! I don't think I can do zoom and stop motion at the same time. They are wonderful. I love the way you put the pictures in order! So at first we have to guess. Just by the ears, I first thought you'd come across a pack of wild dogs!I just now saw the B-17. You must have done these two posts close together. Black and white makes it look like a very old plane. Funny about that.
These are great! It seems that no matter how often we see deer, we always get excited to see them. I'm glad you went around to the other side of the hill.
Lovely! I miss our deer. We had lots before all the fencing went up for the horses and goats. Someday I will retrieve my pics off the crashed hard drive. I have some of a doe being romanced by a young button buck.
I love the ones where we just see their ears! TOO cute! Those skies are a magnificent blue color! Then capturing them running down the hillside - Great! THanks for sharing these!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
