Love your photos. I've also had some great pictures of mushrooms this summer. Feel free to check out mine. I think they're pretty much all on Wordless Wednesday or Friday Fun.
This year, we are about 11 inches OVER normal --when it comes to rainfall. That is so different from the past 2-3 years when we were in a drought. Due to all of the rain, we have had many more mushrooms also...

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

Fungus Amongwhat? Ahhh so that's where mushrooms come from. Hmm I saw something new again today. Thanks Judy.

I love that you included one with a cross section...very interesting and lotsa texture. Happy WW :)
The top ones look like they are wearing wedding dresses. The pink light inside the fungus in the last shot is terrific.
Oh wow..at first they look like eggs! Great find and beautifully captured!
have never seen such beautiful and interesting fungus before. thanks for sharing, Judy. the last photo is spectacular!
Great photos, no idea what they are. I'm watching to see if anybody comes up with a name. Love the second one, too.
I bought 2 books and still can't tell the difference. So many look too much alike.
Judy, the mushrooms look fantastic, and the last photo is just beautiful!
Judy, thank you for the comments on my blog and I see you were a lucky receiver of the HS award. ;)
Beautiful photos of the mushrooms AND fall scenery.
I told Hubby long ago... I just love a fungi!
I've never seen that type. The texture is beautiful. Love the 'peep show' shot...

This is just fantastic! Mushrooms are great subjects ;-)
Those are really cool! ~ Calico Contemplations
I am starving and these look delicious - is that weird?
I hope you enjoyed Halloween Judy! It is not celebrated as much here and yes I hope to put a new thriller up soon!
Best wishes

I don't know what type they are, and not knowing would not want to eat them. Great shots.
These almost look like lacy Easter eggs. You really captured the detail.
I like the look of these mushrooms, and the best part is the last picture that reveals what's inside.
Yowza that is a big mushroom. Mushrooms are kind of facinating and are a good subject for photography. They are almost alien like.

Hahaha! If they were edible, I could make a mushroom themed lasagna!
Very great photography!
It might be a shaggy mane, but I am not sure...we had some in our yard, too!
