- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. How cute!
Don't they always do that when you try to take a photo of them?
But you manage to make good shots out of it.
oh! i love the ripples on the water, enchanting!
and the duck derriere is kinda cute in a funny way...lol
These are probably the most original captures that I will see today.
These ducks are just beautiful, and "bottom up" photos are priceless..I see them doing this at this time of the year a lot!

Mallard is my husband's favorite duck, he loves the emerald green on the male. Great shots.

Great pics! I love when ducks to that - it makes me laugh. Its almost like they are mooning us.
How funny! I can't get the ducks to perform for me like that! But the water is bluer than blue, that just really is the star of the pictures almost! I assume it's the bright blue sky's reflection.
Gorgeous pictures..I like them all, but of course the colorful duck does stand out. :)

I love their fluffy butts when they eat off the bottom. I love all ducks and geese...aren't they cool?
They become very vulnerable when they have to eat! Nice shot of the details of legs and feet.
Great shots! I just love when ducks and geese stick their butts up in the air! IT is so funny looking. Just "quacks" me up! Sorry - I couldn't resist! LOL!
