Autumn's Last Song

Come said the wind to
the leaves one day,
Come o're the meadows
and we will play.
Put on your dresses
scarlet and gold,
For summer is gone
and the days grow cold.

- A Children's Song of the 1880's

Wow everything has turned to yellow. Leaves have fallen apart, but the friendship will stay even in the most cold days and stormy days that will come. Take care.

Your trees are so magetic and graceful. The leaves are so colourful I am envious but I am lucky to be able to see them through your eyes.Thank you for your kind comments.

That is a very delightful verse, Judy. And I love the beauty of the old tree, some things do get better with age...

Beautiful 'last' pictures of Autumn, Judy... It seemed to come and go fairly quickly this year.

I love that song! And your photos really fit it, too! I love the FALL season. Unfortunately, I missed a lot of it being in NM and AZ. Not many trees to see change colors!

These photos are wonderful indeed! When I enlarged the first two shots it seemed to me I was just there in that beautiful park and that I could come up that lovely pond.

Wonderful fall photos. I was beginning to enjoy the yellow color of the leaves here too until the wind took them all away.
