Meow, Miss Cindi Lou Who here to bring you this week's Camera Critters. I'll bet you didn't expect to see me back so soon. I reminded mom it was my job to pick out the photos for this meme. This week I want to show you Skippers (that's what mom calls them, I say they are flutterflies).
The skippers have been all over our yard for the last few weeks. We have been seeing them on all the flowers and in the grass.
Mom says that Skippers have traits of both butterflies and moths.
Most of the ones we have seen lately have been all brown but the other day we saw this one with a blue body.
It's really fun being a kitty cause I can get to eye level with bugs and skippers and look them right in the eyes.
You can call them Skippers and I will call them flutterlies but either way they sure are cute.
Hi Miss Cindy...did you enjoy watching the skippers today? Would you know what's that spiral thing of the skipper's mouth on the last photo? Looks like it ate something.
Hi Miss Cindi Lou Who, you are looking beautiful as always. We have been busy with Sissy's birthday so we are a little behind. I love the critter you picked, it is pretty.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

licks and sniffs, Sasha
I'd like to see the frog or toad that's just about to pounce and gobble them up. Or is that just downright bad of me?
Absolutely beautiful
Great pictures Cindi, glad you have the flutterflies to occupy you, oh and your mommy too who takes great pictures!
Ms Cindy Lou, tell your mama that the details of her critters are just lovely and purrfect! She is so skillful with her camera!
I haven't seen a skipper in a long time. I'm glad you did this post about them, because most people don't know that they even exist.
I can't tell the difference ! Great shots - so close !
These are marvelous!
Wow - a blue-body skipper. Who knew? thanks for sharing!
